Good point, but Congress will Evaluate their activities every 5 years to determine the renewal of thier license under the ANTI-TRUST LAW.
Any derogatory activity will affect that process.

Are you joking, the NFL is run by a bunch of republican billionaires who donate millions to politicians and have more lobbiests than football players. The NFL commissioner could crap on a picture of Trump on the 50 yard line at half time and wipe with the flag and the republicans wouldn't consider ending the NFLs anti trust exemption. Get it through your head they are bought and paid for.

They will stand while they are at work receiving their pay. They can however, hold hands, lock their arms together, or salute while the National Anthem is being played. But no more disrespectful activity.
They can excercise their right of freedom of speech on their own time, but not during games.
Congress will be monitoring activity on and off the field as far as things like domestic violence, drug use, public brawls, etcetera.
After reviewing the Rice incident where his girlfriend was knocked out in that elevator, the NFL will toe the line as far as activities where their players are concerned.
It is about time someone pulled in the reigns in on these idiots who are setting disgusting examples for our kids!
This is America Damn it! Love It Or Leave It!

Oh, before I forget~~ GO TRUMP~~♡●♡

Weasel,

this does not sound like something the Congress can lawfully do.. I am not sure.

Also think that this would have been all over the internet today..

do you have a link?

I do not believe Congress should get involved at all. Besides, with how useless the Rinos are, the Jackasses likely will be back in control of Congress soon. I do not believe having Shumocrats involved in the NFL is good.

The top of the media chain which is really in charge of the NFL is made up of a bunch of liberals. As usual you have no idea what you are talking about.

You must not be using the Internet properly. I read up on it extensively before posting the story. But just check in on the games tomorrow. You won't see any kneeling!

In the end it is not Congress, but the NFL's customers who will decide what these useful idiots will do. When viewership drops and stands are empty the Democratic Party's pawns in the NFL will take a pay cut. If the owners do not have the money to bid up those rich contracts those players will have to live on less.

I just read an article that stated there was a 31% drop. Like getting a $69 paycheck instead of a $100 paycheck.

I think the people did.. we hit them in their piocket and they listen.. unfortunately money is all any corporation plays to..

Either way they know the score, they lose, we win.. Not that it's a win really..

I can not phathom people that would attack our flag and national Athem and am completely appalled by it ... As well as any who " profess to be citizens" and then attack the very core of it!! Sorry, but those that do, did and will lose my respect...

Plenty ways to vent but using a national past time isn't right and while they surely do have the right of speech they do not in my book have the right to claim being a citizen of this great nation and do as they did!! And that hogwash they have a right to express themselves is absolutely right .. They nor anyone else living in this country, home of the free, with many a soldier defending our country have the right to shun her and or not stand FOR her!! Feel that way then by all means don't let the door hit your derrière on the way out!!!

This take a knee garbage was sponsored by others just to keep divide, hate and bigotry going!! It's a damn shame when people can't see how they are being manipulated and just jump on the bandwagon!!

Ok, rant off now!! Great news, thank you for posting it.

Great news and - and maybe other sports and celebrities along with some others will heed this warning.
WE, the people are in charge.

The take a knee protests are simply the African athletes finally admitting they don't like the white race. It had nothing to do with policemen. They were, and are still, giving white America the middle finger. That's just the truth, if you don't see that it's because you have been programed not to see with a discerning mind.

This hits the owners first. The players echo is a year or two down the road. Some players endorsements will get hit sooner.

I think it's even more than that. It's there way of giving America the middle finger. They have been programmed by their leaders that they are less than the rest of us . Therefore they will be perpetual victims.

The person we're fighting is George Soros and his media "gossip mill" who wants to destroy our American heritage. What needs to be hammered away at by Americans to those who have been indoctrinated in the UN legislated via our government schools with misconceptions of our freedom because they never had fathers to mentally fortify them to resist Marxism, is: "we don't disrespect the symbols of our right to legally protest."

I have to go along with your words, because they never had fathers to mentally fortify them in that about 70% of our black mothers don't have husbands. Of course, my uncle who lived in a LA suburb used to like to tell the tale about many of those homes having men living in them the day that welfare people came around checking. They had to do that to get their money and then left the house till the next time.

About 60 years ago someone asked me my definition of a football game and I answered, "It's 20 minutes of action crammed into 3 hours". He stared at me with a blank expression for about 5 seconds then turned and walked away. No good bye, no thank you for my insight, nothing. I guess I should not have been surprised knowing he was my high school football coach. Ah the lessons we learn through sharing our opinions.

=====================
I hate football game. I hate looking at those huge muscled men, with stone hard heads, bumping each other, knocking down each other. It is about MONEY! That is the bottom line. Yes, they make millions but within few years their damaged heads get all kinds of illnesses that they become dysfunctional. Multi-millionaires for brief years of their lives. These people are brainless, they use muscles.

There were still few NFL players who did not stand today, when the Anthem was played. They argue that they were praying. But why pray during the 1 minutes of the National Anthem? They can pray any time they want, before or after their games. They can't share 1 minute of this most precious moment to honor the flag?

If you recall when Tim Tebow knelt and prayed, thanked the Lord of his home run, all the members, and the football owner yelled at him. Tim's kneeling did not bother anybody, but just knelt and thank the Lord for few seconds. He was attacked vilified, and the ultimate price for that? He was removed from the football game. WHY? Because he is a Christian and white!!

But now, these black football players who refuse to stand for 1 minute of the National Anthem justified that they are praying. Perhaps, these people are not even Christians. Perhaps they are Islam. They must just as well raise their butts up in the air and moan to their moon god called allah. 75% of football players are blacks.
