actually,,, it makes scientific sense,, that if a mutation improves the species then the species would evolve,,, like a longer necked giraffe......
Where it fails is that mutations dont tend to survive,,,, and herd mechanics favor the group not the individual,,,, which is why white wildebeast get eaten first,,,, they stand out,,,,
Never mind the science that ALL vertebrate mamals have only 8 cervical vertebrae,,,,, and mutations almost never survive,,,, AND even if you had a "taller" giraffe,,, he is still a giraffe,,,, and can breed with the others,,,, therefore the species did not change
