President Trump's and the Debt Ceiling debate

This is my opinion regarding President Trump's idea of getting rid of the debt ceiling. Who is to say that even though the the President wants to end the debt ceiling means that he is necessarily talking about continuing increasing it? Has anyone ever thought that perhaps he is also talking about reducing the debt ceiling when it's required? just saying.
