Can anyone make sense of this?

There are only so many countries in the world that own nuclear weapons - and we seem intent on poking all of them with a stick. Why would we do that? We have the N. Korean problem that we need China's help with......so we lambast China, criticizing them for not fixing our problem for us. But that's just one nuclear power and a nascent nuclear power.

Iran is another nascent nuclear power that we seem intent on goading into becoming a full fledged nuclear power. India and Pakistan are nuclear powers, Nations that have been paranoid about each other for decades...so we decide to poke Pakistan with an alliance with India. That's like trying to beat a hungry dog off with a juicy steak, or shoo a bull off with a red bandanna. What gives?

We criticize our allies, threaten them with what amounts to sanctions, and disrespect them, daring them to retaliate. The Donald is trying to make Russia our bestess friend, while the Congress is trying to goad them into war. Is this a good cop, bad cop routine.............or sheer lunacy?

How long will it be before one of these nuclear powers has had enough of our bullshit............and sells a warhead to a terrorist? Is there a single nuclear power that we have NOT f&cked with yet? I'm not suggesting that we let anyone with nukes run roughshod over us, I'm just saying we should keep in mind the fact that they HAVE nukes..............and not rely on the fact that we have more of them. Having a bigger stick won't keep you from getting bashed over the head with a smaller stick, so it's best not to keep poking someone who has a stick.

why are you taking the sides of others? Here is a better question.......is there a nuclear power out there that hasn't fucked with us yet?.....ponder that and get back to me, since it's clear what side you're not on.

Making sense of what is going on today is an exercise in futility. If you sincerely want to know why things are the way they are; the answers are in your bible. Read Ephesians 6:12. Fallen angels control the world, temporarily. They are running out of time and they know it. When Jesus Christ returns, very soon now, they are done. They are behind every evil thing that's happening. Humans are extremely easy to manipulate so they have their way. If you don't believe this ; that is why you're confused and frustrated. There are no physical solutions to spiritual problems.

The fallacy in your argument is that when one sticks their head in the sand eventually someone will observe you've exposed your ass and the choice whether to kick it or not becomes simply irresistible.

Could be a long wait. One should consider human actions to improve things.
I will be dust before God walks this Terra Firma again. You too probably.
Don't throw your hands up and surrender.
We were put here to make a difference, not sit on our assess waiting to be saved.

Follow the money! Saudi Arabia is hip deep in world terrorism and use their oil to manipulate our economy. Further, they buy our politicians by the gross, to assure that we will never call them to task for undermining our economy or financing terrorism. Pakistan has mutual support treaties with us and being a moh ammedan nation they regard those treaties as so much toilet paper on their side. We keep our heads in the sand and ignore the fact that they give safe haven to terroists and probably financing as well. We send them huge amounts of our ersatz money which they use to buy Military Chotchkies from American manufacturers who contribute heavily to the congress and congress keeps the three corner trade going, military contracts to the contractors for delivery to Pakistan, subsidies to Pakistan to pay for this, payment to contractors, with a skim off the top for congress.

We fight an endless war in Afghanistan and do nothing to impede their ability to re-arm and purchase ammunition. Our CIA needs the opium to sell on our streets to get the money to carry out operations expressly forbidden by congress. We appropriate billions of dollars to fight a war on drugs, Goldman Sachs profits on lending Uncle Sugar the money. The CIA profits from the opium sales, the Afghani's profit from growing the poppies and our soldiers profit by being sent to heaven early before the can rack up a lifetime of sin.

In each one of the hot spots you mentioned you need to find out who profits. As far as Russia is concerned, their interests in containing this new surge in Islamic dominance is in line with our interests. They too are neighbors of these unstable nuclear wielding states and are as much at risk as we are.

When there is no longer a profit in war , it will stop

It doesn't matter who anyone is, or what they think...that's funny

I'd be embarrassed to expose my own bruises.
