WSJ - Bush Sr. In Business

WASHINGTON, DC -Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and abuse, reacted with disbelief to The Wall Street Journal report of yesterday that George H.W. Bush, the father of President Bush, works for the bin Laden family business in Saudi Arabia through the Carlyle Group, an international consulting firm. The senior Bush had met with the bin Laden family at least twice. (Other top Republicans are also associated with the Carlyle group, such as former Secretary of State James A. Baker.) The terrorist leader Osama bin Laden had supposedly been "disowned" by his family, which runs a multi-billion dollar business in Saudi Arabia and is a major investor in the senior Bush's firm. Other

"This conflict of interest has now turned into a scandal. The idea of the President's father, an ex-president himself, doing business with a company under investigation by the FBI in the terror attacks of September 11 is horrible. President Bush should not ask, but demand, that his father pull out of the Carlyle Group," stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.

"This has the potential of making 'Billygate' (Jimmy Carter's brother's dealings with Libya) look like small potatoes," added Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

blocklanes-Ex president Bush should disassociate himself from the Carlyle group on the day following completion of investigations of ,and final reports on,the IRS, Benghazi and Fast & Furious scandals resulting in the resignation of Barack Obama and indictment of Hillary Clinton. Good Luck America !!!

Why is Tom Fitton so interested in this? This is yesterday's news! I thought Judicial Watch concerned itself with fraud and corruption in the Obama administration, and I've never seen them getting worked up over anything from any previous administrations. This really surprises me. In any case I stopped contributing to their organization a long time ago because I think they're basically irrelevant.

He is not going to refute anything. All of this post are liberal bile and anytime anyone post anything negative about Obama that he jumps in with his liberal BS and calls people names. I have given up on posting or commenting on his post I just post IDIOT IGNORED. I have found it doesn't do any good to try to reason with him on anything.

It works both ways. Here's some conservative bile for you:

No they are not. Once again you ignored the substance of my post, which called out your posting of POSSIBLE legislative attempt to eliminate free speech on talk radio as though it was happening. I was hoping for intelligent conversation. Guess I'll 'retreat' to somewhere else, cause I sure ain't getting it from you.
Adieu.

You are sucking shit out of your filthy thumb again. There was no time that I ever even came close to saying it was happening right now. It was a simple warning and nothing more. It was you and your stupid crowd that chose to add shit where there was no shit whatsoever. But that isn't really surprising at all because that is the typical liberal left-wing MO, is it not?

Do you suck everything as hard as you do shit out of your thumb? Is this how you keep in good with your local Democrat Committee? Sheesh! What a way to be recognized as a crummy Democrat.

Only 184,000 Iraqi killed. That's nothing in your book. If Iraq would have invaded the U.S. and killed 184,000 Americans, would you call them terrorists?

You just don't seem to get your head around this. Listen or read very, very carefully, ok. I didn't say that 184,000 people killed was a good thing, even acceptable, it is a bad thing and I don't think we should have been in Iraq at all. What I said is get your facts straight before posting statistics. It was not 500,000 people killed it was 184,000 people killed. That's all, real simple concept, if you are going to post statistics, at least have some source that you can link too in order to prove your point. It's called credibility.

It is my understanding that Osama bin Laden was more than just disowned by the very large and influential bin Laden family, that he was a disgrace to them, and to Islam in their minds. This is like the parents and extended family of Lee Harvey Oswald being chastised and demonized over killing of JFK, they disowned him and tried to distance themselves from him when he went to Russia. Long before he killed Kennedy.

Wow, where do you get your information. Bush was respected by other countries? The 500,000 thousand Iraqi's that he killed really respect him. Also the over 4000 Americans that died looking for weapons of mass destruction really respected him?
Obama has not created a new war. Does that count, in your book?
Dennis Miller is a comedian, the last time I heard.
Maybe the oil prices went up because of the Bush family is on Saudi Arabia's payroll.

Do you think Bush has more money than Obama?

Why do you feel the need to repeat the same lies you've been using for 5 years ? Everything about him is a hoax ! He's an egotistical muslim, who has ruined our reputation world wide. The rest of the world DID respect Pres. Bush. They knew if he said we wouldn't put up with their threats, he'd follow through. Now , we're a laughing stock to the rest of the world. Even Putin makes fun of him. Putin said : "Dealing with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon knocks down all the pieces, craps all over the board, and then struts around like he won the game." Does that sound like respect?

After reading that I think blocklanes would be more appropriately named "blockhead".
