Trump claimed he won the election because our economywas a mess and only he could fix. He continues to this day saying he inherited a mess. So I decided to do some research and what Trump actually inherited was an economy experiencing steady if not spectacular growth in output, jobs, and income that were beginning to rise. But the right wing continues to deny the facts of an economy Obama inherited and what Trump inherited. It's sad that the right wing cannot admit to real facts.

Any president coming into office has inherited the last year of the preceding president as in the case of Trump no budget or spending can be done until the Trump budget goes into effect because it gets approved in Nov. 2017 and goes into effect Jan 1st 2018. In Trumps first 6 months he is under the Obama final year of spending, immigration policies, all are policies and agendas are on Obama not Trump. Trump has passed no major legislation to date. He's done nothing but talk.

Let's look at jobs a big bragging point by Trump

Obamas last 12 months Trump inherited 2.2 million jobs added and a trend of 75 straight months of positive job growth. All denied by the right but BLS shows the real facts. That is the longest streak in history and continued into the Trump administration. Great job Donald do nothing and take the credit.

Obama not so fortunate the economy had lost 4.4 million jobs in the preceding 12 months and continued at a rate of 800,000 jobs a month.

When Trump took office in Jan. According to BLS there were 5.5 million job openings which was at an all time record high. This figure has been at this level for the last 18 months of Obama and continued into the first 6 months of Trump. So Obama left Trump with 5.5 million jobs on the books. But Trump continues to brag.

Obama took office with a 7.9% unemployment and losing 800,000 jobs a month and unemployment topped out at 10%. When Obama left office unemployment was at 4.7% 5.5 million jobs on the books.

Trump entered Office with Jobless rate at 4.7% with 5.5 million jobs on the books. What a mess he took over. Trump really has balls bragging about his early accomplishments.

Trump entered Office at a time when incomes had just begun to rise over the last 6 months of Obama. In 2015 mediam household income had jumped over 5.2% the largest one year jump in history. The income level for Obamas final year is projected to be even higher than the 5.2% and Trump is already using 2016 stats and bragging about these levels. But has done nothing.

Let's look at the economy which under Obama has posted annual increases in real (inflation- Adjusted) GDP products for 5 years. But the right uses this as a negative that Obama never exceeded 3%. Trump has promised 4%. But a 4% hasn't been reached since the dot.com bubble in 2000 when Bush took office. So Bush inherited an growing economy and a $295 Billion surplus. But 2016 projected growth is at 3.5% and should be the same for 2017 which Trump is already taking credit. Trump first measurements will be at the end of 2018 right now he rides the Obama trend.

Corporate profits Trump took office when corporate profits are running at near record highs. Just in 2014 corporate profit levels hit record levels of $1.73 trillion after taxes and were running at an annual rate of $1.68 trillion by the third quarter of 2016. Trump has already taken credit for the 4th quarter under Obama.
Previous to Obama these year was 2006 @ $1.38 trillion. Profits have now exceeded that old record for the past 6 years and are on track to do it again. Trump is already taking credit for this.

Single family home prices as figures show had begun to recover in 2015 at a 7% rate since the housing bubble began in 2007. Housing prices are usually the last to recover.

Trump takes office with a lower % of Americans lacking health Insurance than anytime on record thanks to a program he vows to repeal after promising ever American affordable healthcare.

Murder rates in 2015 was at a rate of 4.9 murders per 100,000 people which was at its lowest rate since 1960 in the 1980's under Reagan it was at 10.6%. Trump continues with the lie that murder rates are at its highest it's been in 45 years.

Trump promised to re- Negotiate TPP because he is a great negotiator. But the great negotiator withdrew. Now we have no trade in the Trans Pacific. That accounts for 12 nations equaling 40% of the worlds economic output and the US shares in none of it. This has hurt expecially our Agricultural products but that's okay the great negotiator created 1700 coal jobs.
The Agricultural community in Montana realizes now this is one big missed opportunity. The concerns given to Trump about TPP was currency manipulation and great great negotiator decided not to negotiate and just withdrew. TPP could have opened just in the agricultural community $63 billion in trade and the farm bureau federation estimated just Montana lost out on a estimated $86.9 million in exports. Trump promised Bi-Lateral agreements with the countries in TPP but in 6 months has done nothing. So the agricultural community misses out on an annual $63 billion in trade. The problem is once the trade between these nation have started you will not be able to get invovled it's gone.

Remember the Trump promise to get out of NAFTA until someone showed that buffoon a picture of Iowa corn that makes up 40% of there corn produced and he dropped that real quick.

The states such as Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas, Louisiana are having real problems with getting information with Trumps administration because he has locked down these agencies so they can't get any information.

Obama stock market over 8 years rebounded and the S&P 500 Index damm near tripled. A trend that has continued under Trump. When Obama took office the US economy was in turmoil.Dow closed at 7,949 on his first day and closed at 19,732 on his last day. That was a 148% increase. The S&P closed at 805 on Obamas first day and closed at 2,264 on his last day.

So we listen day after Trump bragging about this so-called mess he took over. But there is no question with these facts a figures he is riding the Obama wave and taking the credit.

Fox News started this garbage by identifying Reggie Love as a Dog trainer at $102,000 but for the record Reggie Love was the presidents personal assistant which all presidents have that takes care of all the presidents scheduling, Valet, and all personal needs while traveling. (HE WAS NOT A DOG TRAINER 5 MINUTES OUT OF YOU'RE TIME WOULD HAVE PROVEN YOU WRONG)
The name of Obamas trainer was Dawn Sylvia-Stasiewicz who trained the dog for two weeks before entering the White House and paid for personally by Obama. There was no evidence in the presidents budget that that trainer received any funds from the federal government.

I could go on and on about such foolishness like SS number and how it was an error by the SS office that used to use Key punch machine at that time to issue SS cards and it was one number off which was a common mistake but SS admitted to that error and also stated at the time it was a common mistake. There were thousands of cards issued with one number off just by hitting the wrong key.
