I wanted to make sure you saw the memo the DSCC released about 2018, health care, and our path forward.

Mitch McConnell is going to try to ram his reckless Trumpcare bill through the Senate and, whatever happens, we must make sure Republicans are held accountable for this outrageous plan.

The exclusive analysis prepared for the DSCC showed that voters in battleground states reject key provisions in the Republican plan when they understand that it would:
Raise out-of-pocket costs with higher premiums, deductibles, and prescription drug costs. (We’re talking 20% spikes in costs)

Hurt people with pre-existing conditions who will lose protection and can lose coverage. (That includes children born with heart conditions)

Impose an age tax on older Americans ($8,400 on average), forcing them to pay premiums as much as 5x higher than what others pay.

As Chairman of the DSCC I wanted to share this with you for two reasons.

First, we need your help to get this message out to friends and neighbors. Your voices are critical in creating a national chorus of outrage against this destructive Republican plan.

President Trump and Senate Republicans are trying to pass a health care bill that will leave 23 million without care, leave individuals with pre-existing conditions skyrocketing premiums and gut Medicaid by $834 billion just so they can cut taxes for wealthy households and insurance companies.

Why do we have to refund your Marxist medical care debacle that anyone who could even count on their fingers knew it was not sustainable when you sorry bastards forced it on the American people? Where is all the money it was going to save? When did it ever lower cost except for those who were subsidized? The entire program was a lie and a failure but it accomplished one thing.
