How's that? A company offers a good product at a fair price, or they don't.

Every day. I do envy them. They get to travel wherever they want. I think I'll ask them to leave me the RV in their will.
MY folks did the same thing, they went through 2 RV's and 3 trailers, our roads in America beat the shit out of them. Dad would call when they would be relocating to a new fishing spot.

They don't pay their employees a fair wage enough to survive. They keep their hours low so they don't pay overtime or benefits and so the employees qualify for State assistance...or their employees have to work a second job. It's ridiculous...just like McDonalds
The owners of WallyWorld are selfish, greedy, rich bitches and bastards!
I haven't stepped inside any of their stores and I refuse to park anywhere near their stores!
I tell my friends not to shop there or buy from McDonalds!

I loathe Walmart, but it is the only place I can afford to shop. My ice cream alone is $2 cheaper than the "box N bag" grocery store. I only buy bulk nuts at that store.

However, hygeine and grocery is pretty much all I do buy at WallyWorld. The "outer limits" of their stores.

I wish I could say, "I've never set foot in a WalMart." But I can't. They take my $$$ every month at an average of $150 +/- (about $70 of that is for CocaCola alone, my "coffee" thus comment section "closed")!!! Anywhere else would cost me closer to $200+. I usually splurge once per month on "2 for Tuesday" Pacific Veggie w/garlic sauce pizzas at Dominos Pizza. That's about it for my spending habits. Oh, I do buy my 2 supplements elsewhere, but only every other to couple of months.

I loathe Walmart, but tis the only place I can afford to shop.

I wish I could hear you say "I will never drink another CocaCola", You'd $70.00 ahead right there. You might look at the pizza too.
how about some real meat/potatoes/veggies?
None of my business of course but I'd have a problem blaming WallyWorld for the $150+or- you spend there.

you said yourself that you shop there because you can afford it
evidently what you buy is eatable

I for one buy my groceries at Krogers
very little higher and seemingly better products -

Well its a regional thing, gotta like birchbark and sticks and pinecones. Its a good niche. I was able to work home while my kids were young. Its a steady source of income in an area where the only people with money are the tourists and I get to call myself an artist. Though the term is loosely applied in my case. I should be called Into the Woods, as that is where I spend most of my time, which is nice.

I would do the same, but the nearest Krogers is a long way to go. Especially carrying groceries. The Walmart is walking distance.

If you have an Aldi close by, they are even better yet.

As I stated, "comment section 'closed'" on the CocaCola issue, it's my "coffee"!!!

What else do you think the remaining $75+/- is spent on? As I stated, "Anywhere else would cost me" more $$$. And, I order my pizza once a month, "Pacific Veggie".

EDIT: I "loathe Walmart" because of what the store has grown to represent. If I could afford to shop elsewhere, I would.

In my neck of the woods we have a Woodmans grocery store and all of there food is low priced and the employees are owners in Woodmans. When my wife was alive and the only Woodmans was in Janesville Wisconsin we would go up about once a month and shop there. Now I have a store here in Rockford and I do most of my shopping there. I also shop at Sam's as well for their meat. I can buy a whole New York Strip loin for about 6.94 or 7.30 depending on the price of meat where ever they buy and then they cut it to whatever thickness I desire. I can then bring it home and vacuum pack each steak and freeze it and it is good for several years. Some food at Woodmans is bulk the same as Sam's is. I don't know if pop is more reasonable at Sam's or not. The only draw back to Sam's is the yearly fee but my daughter is on my membership and she uses Sam's fairly often and enjoys it. If you don't have a Sam's you could look into Costco as I have had a membership there at one time but then I have to drive to Chicago to use it so not much savings there.

There is a Costco and a Sam's Club in the KC Metro area. I don't have a car and it is a good 70+ mile round trip journey. I only cook for me, and not much of that kind of "cooking" happens at my house. It's a long story and I simply no longer have the will.

If you know someone how shops there you can maybe set up a car pool with them and maybe go every fourth week with them to shop or something like that just a thought is all.

Nope, I am not among that class of people. I am among the "left behind" class, which means the bus/taxi or on foot. I do have a "case manager" who gets me to my "stores" once or twice a month and I am most grateful.
