Teachers worry they always have to be “neutral.” When Donald Trump demanded to know if former FBI Director James Comey would be “loyal” to him, Comey would only promise to be honest. His loyalty was to law, the Constitution, and justice, not Donald Trump. In the same way teachers and students should not simply be neutral, or balanced, when evaluating history or current events. Our “loyalty” must be to basing opinions on evidence, analysis, and reason, three qualities that appear to be missing in the current administration.

Let me repeat one line for all you guys who just insult or whine objections: "Our “loyalty” must be to basing opinions on evidence, analysis, and reason, three qualities that appear to be missing in the current administration" and most Right Wing posters of OPP. Saying something is false or wrong without any "evidence, analysis, and reason" is childish.

Here is something to seriously consider: Possible Charges Against Donald Trump Justifying Impeachment (Students and teachers can add your own ideas to the list): Income Tax Fraud; Building code violations; Bribery to obtain contracts; Defrauding students; Violation of election laws by collusion with Russians; Jeopardizing national security through collusion with foreign powers; Misuse of Presidential authority to obstruct justice by blocking investigations; Lying to the public and the press; Violations of first amendment press freedoms; and, Stupid tweets.

There's only one problem. Trump never asked for Comey's loyalty.

You'll notice Comey hasn't claimed any such thing, especially after Trump hinted that the conversations they had were taped.

It's going to be awful hard for Comey to claim that something that didn't happen did happen, if there are tapes of the conversation where that was supposed to be said, and it ain't there.

That's just more fake news that you fell for.

But, as Trump has said, if he had asked for loyalty, there would be nothing wrong with that.

All our armed forces have to swear loyalty to the commander in chief.

What are they supposed to do, swear disloyalty to the duly elected president?

Wouldn't that be treason or at the very least, sedition?

Tell me that again when Trump refuses to release such "tapes" or claims he never "taped."

All Trump said was, "That Comey had better hope that there are no tapes of the meetings."

That is neither an admission or a denial of the existence of any tapes.

As the good book says, "The guilty flee, where no man pursueth."

Now Comey has a problem, if he was thinking of lying, to try and get Trump into trouble.

Comey now has a dilemma, he faces the age old question:

To lie or not to lie, that is the question!

Tis it better to lie, assuming that no tape exists or to take the chance and be exposed as a liar himself?

Decisions, decisions......................................

Just curious. Why are you the "Dr." of the worthless?

Nonetheless, you may have "voices in your head"......if you do, (sadly) they're lying to you!

Dr. Dross: You need to get a grip on your insane dislike for our president...you are soiling your skivvies for fear of the good our President is doing. Your fear of his success is apparent in your ad hominin attacks, and your undying affection for his enemies. Your time has passed like the fatulance of a pig...blown away by a fair wind. Get used to it, President Trump is and will be our president for the next seven and a half years, the only thing impeachable is the leftist media and pathetic progressive losers that support them.

=====================

Good grief Gross, you’ve made it all backwards.
You’ve misrepresented everything backwards to promote your destructive liberal agenda. The loyalty Trump was asking was loyalty to his jobs that are beneficial to our country, to the expectations of the president. The fact that Comey was not able to render justifications on Hillary’s massive crimes, indicated that president Trump has lost his confidence on him. Comey despite of all massive evidences, he failed doing his jobs.

But you interpreted it according to the greed and lies of the liberals whose most important goals are pleasing their self-interests. Me, me, me, poor me, those are the substance of the liberal brains like yours. Hillary and Obama's massive lies are and deceptions are all detrimental to our Republic.

There is no income tax fraud. Gross, you must have committed tax fraud yourself, that is why it comes out of your brain easy.
Fact. President Trump over the years had paid more than a billion dollars to the IRS. Fact, President Trumps tax returns were all prepared by CPA’s and tax specialists. Tax lawyer reviewed them, ensuring that the returns were all accurate and in compliance with all IRS laws.

I know gross, that you are ignorant of even knowing any of complexities of president Trump tax returns. The tax returns were complex, because they involved so much activities with millions of dollars on both revenue and expenses.

Building Code violations Gross? Are you Bill or Hillary Clinton or Obama? All the Trump towers have all approved building codes and City inspections. The qualities of the constructions were superb. They were handled by brilliant engineers and architectures the superior qualities of constructions. The most competent engineers and architects followed every legal code of the constructions. Gross, you are hallucinating about bribery, that the work of the democrats. I think that is your activities on how you live. You are dishonest and corrupt that is why you know all these illegal mean that you’ve done it yourself.
Your massive criminal accusations will find you in the big house, unless you could prove all your LIES.
Lying to destroy a person is not freedom of speech. It is a criminal intent to destroy. I will ensure that you ‘ll pay for the price on what you have written here. YOU ARE THE BIGGEST LIAR AND FALSIFIER OF DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION. I believe you will pay for all these.

Hate to break it to you, but teachers haven't been neutral since they started the unions.
All they're worried about is they're funding, so I wouldn't bring them into the mix as a continued credible source.

It's amazing how your little minds can twist facts and a report into what you'd like it to be. I'm sure, as it is reported that Comey filled out a MEMCON (memo communication) immediately after his meeting with your nutty little savior. It is SOP for all investigators. Evidently this procedure is foreign to this administration and its Trumpeteers who are all ignorant of this procedure and never attempted to learn about governmental procedures. And, Drumpf did not mention any tapes until "after" the meeting. If you'll recall, he threatened Comey with these so-called tapes. He has been warned that if such tapes do exist, they cannot be destroyed. Comey did state that he hoped there were such tapes.
