Comey fired over how he handled Hillary E-mail scandal.

I feel sorry for the man, he was in the middle of a briefing with a group of fellow agents in California when the news came across the TV screen saying he'd been fired. He thought it was a some type of joke until they called him aside to inform him 'it wasn't a joke'.

Not since Clinton has a Director of the FBI been fired, and Cox wasn't a director of the FBI, he was however the special prosecutor assigned to investigate Watergate, so it's not 'really' the same type of situation.

People continue to push the collusion between The Trump Campaign and Russia and yet ignore the testimony here--yet continue to believe the narrative the media puts out:

"And I say our, that's the NSA, the FBI, the CIA, with my office, the Director of National Intelligence, that had anything — that had any reflection of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians. There was no evidence of that included in our report.

Chuck Todd (ph) then asked, I understand that, but does it exist? You say no, not to my knowledge. Is that still accurate?

CLAPPER: It is.

GRAHAM: Ms. Yates, do you have any evidence — are you aware of any evidence that would suggest that in the 2016 campaign anybody in the Trump campaign colluded — colluded with the Russian government intelligence services in improper fashion?

YATES: And Senator, my answer to that question would require me to reveal classified information. And so, I — I can't answer that.

GRAHAM: Well, I don't get that because he just said he issued the report. And he said he doesn't know of any. So, what would you know that's not in the report?

CLAPPER: Are you asking me, or …

GRAHAM: No, her.

CLAPPER: Oh.

YATES: Well, I think that Director Clapper also said that he was unaware of the FBI counter intelligence investigations.

GRAHAM: Would it be fair to say that the counter-intelligence investigation was not mature enough to come to his — to get in the report. Is that fair, Mr. — Mr. Clapper?

CLAPPER: I — that's an — that's a possibility.

it goes on for a bit and then Yates testifies:

"YATES: If I could try to clarify one answer before as well, because I think, Senator Graham, you may have misunderstood me. You asked me whether I was aware of any evidence of collusion, and I declined to answer because answering would reveal classified information.

I believe that that's the same answer that Director Comey gave to this committee when he was asked this question as well. And he made clear, and ***I'd like to make clear, that just because I say I can't answer it, you should not draw from that an assumption that that means that the answer is yes."***

So, in other words, people ARE drawing their own conclusions and making assumptions that "YES, they have something" when in fact all of the departments signed a statement sent to the Senate they have seen NO evidence that would lead them to believe there was collusion between the Trump Campaign and the Russians. And the media continues to feed the narrative 'that because she can't say anything 'she must have something'. So, given that, why would their be need for any special prosecutor??? Or even a 'continued investigation'??? Maybe because they hate this president so badly, and they really hate that their 'Queen Hillary" lost to likes of Him..but more importantly, they need to continue to stir up strife with their base voters and keep them angry and destroying the nation in hopes the President would call for Marshall Law so they can then scream "see we told you he was a dictator" "see we warned you", when in fact it would be their OWN ACTIONS that would bring that about--not because he's some dictator, but because they are acting out violence against the Republic.

Thank You for your post..They simply do not want to believe yet, again, there is nothing to get on rump..Tried they did during the campaign to include lies and twists of every sort and still couldn't produce anything to substaniate the false accusations...

Please don't expect any to agree with your post, it afterall takes all the fun out of it for them...

Comey needed to go when Trump went in and for life of me do not understand why he was kept..These embarrassing compromises for the FBI discredits them more each time..It is time to drain the swamp, bring in new blood, re`establish the honor of the Dept and move on with business...

I fail to see the need in creating falsehood when Trump gives them plenty to talk about that is his own doing...

Ce la' vie~~~

The investigation is not complete. Those two have not been in the loop for awhile. Special prosecutor needed to close this case.

Here's a link showing the letter firing Comey:-

Note the 2nd paragraph - "While I greatly appreciate..." - my take is Comey told Trump on 3 separate occasions, that Trump was NOT under investigation. So, as Comey is the director of the FBI, it begs the question: Why the hell is the FBI wasting $millions and one helluva lot of resources and time investigating the Trump/Russia connection?
It proves Comey is incompetent to be director and SHOULD be fired immediately.

I wonder if firing Comey before the new AG and AAG were installed, up and running, would have been a wise move?

It's a liberal smokescreen. Open your eyes, study, then ask yourself why. Where those dots meet, it shouts out INCOMPETENCE!

I like Trump's timing. Now he's settling well into the WH, for the next several months we are going to be listening to that lovely sound of the swamp draining. (And, of course, the liberals screaming bloody blue murder.)

==================
Comey should have been fired long time ago. The Clinton investigations were blatantly clear that Clinton violated most of the things she did as Sec. of State. Facts are, most of her acts were also treasonous against the constitution and against the American people. She worked for herself, not for the country. Most of her time was channeled to her personal servers more than 33 thousands of them been bleachbitted to hide her crimes. But then Comey saved her from jail because of the legal word "lack of intent" . That saved Hillary from being prosecuted. If she had no evil intent, why did she shred thousands of her emails, and 33,000 were bleached bitted to forever avoid tracking down?

Comey saved her. Why? Because it was reported that Comey was part of the Clinton Foundation syndicate and was even paid $6 million dollars for being part of that criminal activities. Comey did not want to divulge the crimes of Clinton. Why? Because perhaps he (Comey) is afraid of just disappearing without a trace, or dying without knowing how. The Clinton Mafia syndicate is so powerful, that anybody who associate with Clinton, and later on get out, ended up dead, without knowing how. Comey's mistake was associating with the criminal activities of Hillary, that was why he could not render a decision to prosecute Hillary Clinton despite of her massive crimes.

Now that Comey is gone, I believe and an independent prosecutor must proceed investigating the massive crimes of Hillary Clinton, and also that of Mr. Obama. They need to be in jail!

Obama hired Muslim Czars for the sake of Islamization of the United States. He said, "Islam is the religion of peace".

Because he just got the letter from the AG's office recommending it?? Possibly?? Because he wanted to send the libs, dems and anti-trumps into an uproar?? You must admit, CNN had been most entertaining!
