I worked on the program from 1988-1991 after I left the USNS Observation Island. Why do you think I can ask these questions you cannot answer specifically unless you talk to someone who was there. Answer the specific questions. If you knew people and had so much without lying then digging for it, you could have been answered those questions...........you flunked on the radar controller and this because I'm speaking specifically from experience...not no general copied bullshit. Again:

Ask them what did they use a old ass DEC PDP-11 mainframe for.
For the radar controller
Describe how to interface a radar controller (all necessary interfaces) and then program it with interrupt-based routines in assembler language to address each specific phase of a radar tracking cycle. Now take that toy and figure out how to do that...better yet, call the vendor and see if that controller is even capable.....ask them what interface hardware is needed (for peripherals and a dedicated math board before on-board co-processor chips even came into being) and what software they can provide you to operate a system controller, A/D sampling circuitry that feeds an array processor board to perform at least a 128-point Fast Fourier Transform that will take radar returns from the receiver, change them from time to Doppler frequency domains and then use those returns and interface them to a digital shaft encoder that will provide real-time pedestal positioning data that aligns itself with missile trajectory...from the time of locking in on track until the missile flight is over and the pedestal returns to the stowed position.

you stupid f-cking dumbass....this was in 1984-87 when Intel was barely out.....33 years ago dumbass. Motorola had cornered the defense market and Intel was barely out yet. CPU chips ran about 8MHZ each dumbass. GaAs (gallium Arsenide) was being developed out there at China Lake for use in Integrated Circuit chips and were successful for achieving CPU speeds in the GHZ speed range you dumbass. The problem? Data bus backplanes could not handle that rate of data transfer without ringing which in turn corrupted the data. The technology to ground the backplane came to fruition later. Only a dumbass racist cracka would think I would have to have a 200 semester unit EE degree and years in a Research and Development (R&D) laboratory designing this shit and all you got to do is cut and paste to have the same knowledge. Kids wasn't using no 68010's back then dumbass. They were for defense work...kids probably had a piece of shit 8080 CPU back then.

Notice how I said the 68010 was 8MHZ? that was 4times as fast as the 2MHZ 8080, which was 8 bit. What gave Motorola an advantage is that it was programmable with long-words. The 68000 was an 8-bit processor that could transfer 16-bit long words and if I remember correctly, the latter versions were 16-bit and could transfer 32-bit long words. I hope you and others think I'm making this shit up.
