Now you're picking on my fellow Oklahoman. I first discovered Elizabeth in 2008 when I stumbled across a one hr lecture she gave at UC Berkeley titled the Coming Collapse of the Middle Class
with power point presentation she had all the states from the US Bureau of stats. It was a great lecture and sent me cruising for more info on the subject. At that time inclination she had not shown any inclination for running for elective office. She came to DC originally as an expert in Bankruptcy law testifying before the Republican Congress who was considering a law making it more difficult for ordinary people to file bankruptcy. She was selected to manage the funds in the TARP bailout and conceived the idea for a consumer financial protection bureau. When Obama selected her to head the bureau she created Republicans filibustered and obstructed her nomination so she left DC and returned to MASS where she was a Harvard Law Professor. She filed to run for the Senate began the race 10 points behind Scott Brown who had served one term and kicked his ass by a bunch. She came from a working family from Oklahoma City. When her father suffered a heart attack her mother found a job with Sears and Elizabeth went to work in her aunts sandwich shop to help out. In high school she joined an all male debating team and won the state championship and a scholarship to college. Chase, B of A, City group, Goldman Sachs met in the spring of 2015 and discussed with holding campaign donations from Bernie and Elizabeth unless the DNC got them to back off bashing the too big to jail banks

All I want to see from Government is for it to act as a fulcrum between capital and labor a balance point. With business being in position to financially tower over Labor. The fulcrum needs to be a little to the left to gain balance but beginning in the 1970's being a business man my self a sub contractor I witnessed the fulcrum being shifted to the right lifting business and quashing labor and initiating the collapse of the middle class

I can respect your choice even thought I don't under stand it. If your not a member of the economic elite it makes it harder to understand. I know there is great animosity toward Elizabeth from the right but I have never understood the right even though I was registered Republican for over 30 years. It has been fascinating watching the right demonize he . Especially since she is a champion of the little people and the business of America in the words of Calvin Coolidge "Is Business"

I know, that part of the post is laughable...as if the whole world can't see the mobs of Antifa and anarchists dressed up like ninjas (or ISIS), rioting. A peaceful, anti-Trump protest is what we had here in Phoenix...AFTER they passed the law that if you riot, they confiscate your assets to pay for the damage. I really am starting to believe that they are suffering from a mental illness...not joking.

I like that law. It should go national.

I followed the Republican line for far too long but that party left me when Pat Robinson became so drunk with power he imagined himself as president. And Jerry Falwell hired a Hollywood producer to produce a video titled the Clinton Tapes then he later admitted on TV that he paid the people in the video to say all those terrible things about Bill Clinton. I had received a request for campaign contribution to the RNC as I always had but included was a 15 page memo with all the garbage that was in the Falwell video. At the time I wondered why the RNC had gone tabloid. Then months later I mentioned the Clintons to me youngest daughter and se responded" Oh those people they are terrible people. I said what are you taking about. She said "I saw this video" I said where did you get this video. she said "from my sister in law " I said. and where did she get it. she said "from the Christian store " I said don't you believe it its garbage. A close friend bought the same video from the Christian store and would not believe it was made by Falwell until I was invited to his home to view it and showed him in the screen credits the company that produced the video was Falwell's company. I research I found 175,000 copies were sold in Christian stores and each one passed around to friends and family. But only viewers of Criss Mathews show saw Falwell stand hold up his right hand and swear he paid all those people to tell those lies and people who shop at the Christian store are not likely to be watching Mathews
I dropped out of that party and registered Democrat by default Third parties are passe' in this country and I don't care much for the Democratic party a party that has lost its way but I will never vote for a Republican again as long as I live and it wouldn't matter if his or her ass were ringed in gold

There is no exchange of ideas with you. It's either your way or it's wrong according to you. You aren't the only.person who has a lifetime of experience so stop bolding yourself out as an authority. All you have is your opinion.

You even tout CA as being so clean and have repeatedly extolled the superior air quality of places like LA. LA is again the filthiest city in America regarding air quality so your word means nothing.

That's not true I've changed my positions over the years depending on the evidence And I'm open to any information that can persuade me that I'm wrong in my world view I've bene wrong before I'm only human If you can persuade me I'll bow down and admit defeat. In my younger days I had some spirted debates with my father in law and I told my Wife many times I wish He could come back long enough to tell him I was wrong and he was right

Was listening to that snowflake idiot Tom Perez and besides jumping up and down, cursing and sounding like a five year old I didn't hear any ideas about issues the Democratic Party is concerned about. I sure as hell didn't hear any solutions about anything, unless the solution is to hate Trump. Look I get they hate Trump. I don't much like him and I voted for him. Just like on OPP you take any subject the left purports to care about and all they do is scream, whine and throw tantrums. One simple topic. Illegals. You don't want a wall, fine. what's the solution. If you're for open borders have the gonads to say it. That's just one example. Many, many more.
