With their vast wealth, media control (ownership), control of (“public”) education, and control of the party apparatus; they have been able to ensure that both parties nominated candidates that would carry out their agenda. The Council on Foreign Relations was formed in 1921 by Edward House, the self-proclaimed Communist who was Woodrow Wilson's chief advisor. He was also involved in the formation of the Federal Reserve.
The original membership of the CFR included everyone who was instrumental in the creation of the Federal Reserve. It was a who's who of the international banking crowd. It was fairly low profile until the administration of FDR, at which time their representation in the highest levels of government exploded and has remained that way ever since.
