Those missiles did not have to hit the hardened structures, they can guide then thru the open spaces on either end.

The Syrian air force has 450+ combat aircraft, ALL of them are obsolete Russian Migs. 20 of them were destroyed in the attack on that air base. The Navy did not target the chemical weapons for good reason.

The attack was not intended to wipe out Assad's air force, it was a WARNING.

Funnily enough, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, UAE, and Israel are thanking God and Allah that someone finally had the balls to send a strong message to the Muslim tyrant who is a threat to them all.

Some of the bunkers shown with destroyed aircraft inside were open on both ends. The runway at was not attacked because 500 pound bombs would have to be used and that would require our aircraft. It was also reported that runways could be easily repaired. The attack was merely a first warning.

Well they(Syrian AF) were so relaxed that they never closed the doors, look, the doors are there, just in the open position. New sheriff caught them napping! We have cruise missiles that can take out run ways.

Watch FOX they have shown close up pictures of bunkers with no doors and destroyed aircraft inside where the missiles flew inside. Several generals also commented that while the cruise missiles used carried a 100 pound warhead it would take aircraft bombing with 500 pound bombs but even so the runways could be quickly repaired. Not my comments just reporting what they said.

I've seen some of the pic's of bunkers with no doors, just makes no since to build bunkers and no doors, kinda like a sub with screen doors. They could have been damaged and removed back when the Daesh attacked and destroyed the Ruskies choppers, who knows what happened to them?
