I know. I doubt if he even knows where that silly attitude comes from. You get these creeps who whine on about how they have 'rights' and how they can do anything they want because they have these 'rights'. I guess it was never explained to them that those rights are essentially meaningless if there's no respect for the same rights in others. He sees a polite approach as a sign of weakness and immediately moves to try and exploit that. You know, this causes me some internal colflict. I think this young man did a fine job of protecting his home, and giving those dirt bags what they deserved.
Here is my conflict: Would my AR make a better home defense weapon than my semi-auto 12 loaded with 00? I'm not sure. I think the AR won't make as big of a mess, but better coverage with the 12. It's a quandry. Hmmmmm.........
