You reject "government roads, infrastructure & schools"? What about Hoover Dam? Or Ike's highway system that brought America into global economic dominance in the 50s? Or states like Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee who get more federal aid than they give in taxes? Let their bridges go?

The rise of Hitler was always one of those things I gave to ignorance: the citizens were duped, not in hidden agreement. The status quo? That is the Conservative touchstone. That is their fundamental characteristic, protecting the status quo.
