I claim this because male circumcision, the cutting away of exposed genitalia, is today not recognized as necessary and is historically based on religious beliefs and practices, and yet is condoned and openly practiced in the USA and many other Nations...
Circumcision was not a practice to remove or limit ones sexual impulses. It was considered necessary for hygienic health.
