The earth is almost round, apparently it is slightly bulging at the equators so it is not absolutely round, but close enough for all practical purposes. (Emphasis mine)

How many "equators" are there?

Golly, what do all those flat-earth ignoramuses have in common?

One thing is that IF they can find their way to a polling booth, they can cancel your vote and that makes their *reasoning* equal to yours. And mine.

But when you think about it, we now know that light and time bend. Light as it passes other stars, so really, what is a straight line and, derivitively, what is a circle or a globe and what is flat? As a plane passes through a globe, there is first a point, then an expanding circle that reaches a max and then decreases back to a point then disappears.

Speaking of weird shit, opened a link the other day titled WHAT THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW.The earth is hollow and
inhabitated by lizard people, some high up in government are lizard people. Well that would explain some things. Struck
me that it was Bism, from CS Lewis' s Narnia, though the inhabitants of Bism didn't wish to rule the world. Could explain
the extreme ugliness of Soros and Clinton and the young lizard Chelsea. Don't forget Pelosi, definately lizard, and since they love
swamps must be some kind of aquatic reptile....

When I'm sober, there only appears to be one.
However, after a night of drinking and dancing, I seem to lose count!

As far as I know, if a plane hits something, globe or otherwise, it doesn't usually end well. I'm guessing that the expanding circle described is an explosion, though the 'decreasing back' idea is somewhat lost on me. The plane doesn't really 'disappear', it just gets fragmented to a point where there are pieces scattered across what is known as a 'debris field'. The higher up the plane is when the fragmentation takes place, the wider the debris field and so the less recognizable the debris becomes.

I am lost too, but dont think they were talking about an airplane. As one who didnt go too far in physics, Ill leave that part of the debate
to others. Thank God he is in control of this vast reality that He created for us, that our brains are really too limited to understand, but can rest in him. Oh dear if the earth is flat, did we squish the lizards?
