Yeah, here are some really great cartoons put out by the anti-gunners and like most left handed cartoons they didn't worry at all about truth. If I am wrong about that maybe you better look at the last one and see how much above the truth the final head count is. I counted 46 once and 47 once. I guess enemies of gun owners really don't worry at all about truth. Kind of like what commies always said, "The end justifies the means".

Not only do they not care about the truth, but they don't care about the second amendment. All they care about is getting rid of guns so we have no way of defending ourselves. To them, that would be a perfect world. It's not really about guns, or people having guns, as long as those people are them and not us. They just don't want us armed. In their perfect world, it is only them that have the guns.

I am a gun owner. I believe that there should be a ban on semi and fully automatic military rifles, especially with large ammo mags. I would also like to see gun show venders be forced to obey the same state and federal laws and regulations that gun shops are subject to. This just may prevent felons, maniacs and terrorists from killing innocent people. WHAT IS THE DOWNSIDE?

I make all my gun purchases from a local farmer who operates a very large business. He charges much less than most others and always seems to have what you want. When I bought my first one from him he was $50 less than Gander Mountain and others like that. He sells a very large amount at gun shows and says that other venders don't like to have to compete on price. Of course, he requires the same background checks at shows as he has to do at his business. I have always wondered about all the noise from anti-gunners because I thought the laws were about the same because of how he does business.

Even though I own a pistol and have a CWP, I am no gun fan. I own a gun for self protection. I am concerned about adults leaving firearms where children can easily get hold of them. The mega murders that have taken place in schools, movies and shopping malls speak for themselves. Too many of us hide behind the second amendment just so they can play with deadly toys. I have no doubt that the folks that wrote the Bill of Rights would be shocked at the way firearms are misused today.

Which do you suppose Obama and crew want to get rid of first? 2 or 4. If they get one they will go after the other and soon the whole Bill of Rights will be gone. However, he doesn't need to take any of them from us if he becomes the dictator which they want to happen.

Obama also said if you like your policy you can keep it and never did he say unless we don't like it. He wants to get rid of our guns but hasn't figured out how to do it yet. I guess if they manage to take the other house of Congress we can either hide them till they come after them or give them up. I am not giving mine up to that left leaning bunch.

WHAT a politician that didn't know what he is talking about!! How shocking. Even if the POTUS wanted to do away with guns ( which he doesn't) there is Congress that would never pass such a law and the courts that would find it unconstitutional! There is enough to worry about without listening to extremists and nut jobs that make up these stories to fire up conservatives even though there is no basis for the accusations!

I guess you don't know that Our Glorious Leader is still trying to push the UN Small Arms Treaty through the Senate. Even after they have voted against it he keeps on, but he has told you from his lean that he doesn't want our guns and you just can't believe that from him.

Where do you get the info that the small arms treaty is still in play? I thought it was kicked out and gone....

I don't know anything about such a treaty. It sounds like a Fox News treaty to me, but in any case, the US Senate has to ratify a treaty. My .357 Magnum for better or worse is in my night table ready to go if needed and will remain so. I'm no lover of guns and wish we lived in a world were they were not needed, but I don't think that will happen anytime soon!

The gun show problem is not the vendors inside; they do the checks. The problem is those who wander around the gun show or the parking lot selling guns informally. One can almost always save a good deal of money buying a gun from one of those guys. You can almost always count on at least a few people wandering around with a sign around their neck. I've always thought of them as lone individuals who needed money or who have a gun they don't want anymore, but I imagine a dealer who couldn't afford the vendor space rental fee or, for whatever reason, didn't want to set up a table could pull that ruse multiple times.
