I didn't hear it all because I was watching a good basketball game but my wife went crazy about the Demoncraps and how they were behaving so I switched channels. Well now I have to say that this speech was much better delivered than any of Obama's in that he wasn't so obviously on the helping machine. I got pretty excited when even the Democrats had to applaud that long time for the wife of the Seal that was killed over a week ago in a raid that Gen. Mattis got so much great information that will be used for future planning.

I got so excited when they showed Dems sitting like small children being punished. Even the two scariest RINOs, McCain and Graham were acting much the same. When people talk about the possibility of the Senate going along with the House in trying to help Trump I have to think about those two and some other RINOs who will vote with the Dems and it only takes 3 of them to defeat the vote of VP Pence.

Seriously, I believe that this speech was one of the best delivered by a President in the past 16 years. How about you people.

President Trump’s first address to Congress is tonight, and we can expect the coverage from the liberal media to be far more hostile than what President Obama received eight years ago for the same speech.

The Media Research Center’s latest flashback study takes a look at the gushing treatment afforded to Obama after his first address to Congress.

On February 24 and 25, 2009, then-President Obama was treated to a cascade of praise from the liberal media in response to his address.

ABC’s George Stephanopoulos deemed it “a start at inspiring hope,” while MSNBC’s Chris Matthews said “he wowed us!”

CNN’s Jack Cafferty was giddy that the “serene” Obama would lead our country “back into the sunlight.”

Not to be outdone by his CNN colleague, on the same network David Gergen proclaimed that Obama “took us to the mountaintops,” with his speech.

These are just a few of the many examples we have of the media acting like cheerleaders for Obama.

In the wake of Trump’s speech tonight, the Media Research Center will be in our "war room" on the lookout for reactions from the media. We suspect the reaction will be a bit different than it was eight years ago.

Trump does, the media and libs will try to destoy him. They are showing what thy are. I saw this coming when Trump won, so we cancelled Dish and now have Netflix, Amazon and a few religious channels. We watch old movies and series with no commercials. We have no live channels and I watch no news channels including Fox. And at 71 and one who has followed politics for 45 years, I am calmer and more at peace. God is in control and always has been.

I am getting more and more unhappy with THEM every day. Some of those Congressional hags dressed up in white so they could sit there and give Trump the thumbs down gesture when he said anything they didn't like, which was about every time he said anything. The things I have seen of Nasty Nancy Pelosi behaving like a small child who has been punished by having to sit in the corner are really making me happy. They had some views of Chunky Schumer sitting there like his mother had punished him too.

Today I am seeing things like how the "ladies" of The View behaved today. I think that Whoopi has finally finished me watching two of my favorite movies, "Sister Act" and "Back in the Habit". I just can't stand her any more.

You mentioned the Democrat answer and I didn't like it very much either, but I don't like those answer videos that are made up long before the speech is delivered, and the GOP plays the same game and I seldom watch them either but they do put in young politicians who have a future and that old Demoncrap is through with politics.

I posted Bernie Sanders' answer which he said was to talk about what Trump didn't say rather than what he did say.

I would like to do as you say with TV, but I don't think any of your sources carry every Kansas U. basketball game and my favorite part of the year is the college basketball season. I keep Fox on all day and then watch GSN late at night after the basketball games are over. One more month of life left.

Honor killings, beatings, rape, beheading of women, mutilation of baby and young girls. I have 2 young granddaughters. I raised my kids in MI for 20 years and I read about Sterling Heights and Dearborn, and Detroit. Muslims demanding their Sharia Law...building a new Mosque in the middle of SH Jewish community. Hajibs...burkas...These women...I just can't fathom what they are thinking. I've watched some of the videos of what they do to women. It irrehensible....it's evil.
