Make the Press the enemy.
America is only exceptional because of freedom of the Press. A free Press is the bedrock and backbone of any Republic or Democracy. All the failed policies and errors of judgment and bad laws in our history only changed because this country has a free Press. It will say terrible things about how our government is run and about the people in charge, and be free to do so where there is just cause. To erode trust in a free Press is to undermine a Republic or Democracy. All our liberties in a Republic or Democracy are threatened when a free Press is threatened. For a president of the United States to suggest the Free Press is an "enemy of the people" is sedition. To make everything that may disagree with or contradict or cast doubt on what those in power say and do as "fake news" cripples a Republic or Democracy.
Mike Wallace of Fox News blistered Reince Priebus on this dangerous and totally un-American tendecy. Reince, "Here's the problem," Wallace said. I don't have any problem with you complaining about an individual story. We sometimes get it wrong, you guys sometimes get it wrong. I don't have any problem with you complaining about bias," Wallace said.
"But the president went a lot further than that. He said that the 'fake media,' not certain stories, the 'fake media,' are an enemy to the country. We don't have a state-run media in this country. That's what they have in dictatorships," Wallace continued.
"You don't get to tell us what to do, Reince. You don't get to tell us what to do any more than Barack Obama did. Barack Obama whined about Fox News all the time, but I've got to say, he never said we were an enemy of the people," Wallace replied.
After Priebus said he was "surprised" Wallace would forget "all the shots" that Obama took at Fox News, the anchor interjected.
"He took the shots, and we didn't like them, and frankly, we don't like this either. But he never went as far as President Trump has. And that's what's concerning. Because it seems like he crosses a line when he says that we're the enemy of the people," Wallace said.

John McCain, R-Ariz., said in an interview that aired on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. “They get started by suppressing a free press. In other words, a consolidation of power. When you look at history, the first thing that dictators do is shut down the press.”
I don't think there is one person on the Right here that does not dismiss Mainstream Media. This disregard in favor of alt-right blogs for "truth" can only end in the end of our Republic. If you truly are a patriot, act like it. Be concerned for America first and not partisan ideology. Look deeply, question, doubt, search, be vigilant for our freedom.
