I did have two dogs that did ask questions. One was a Siberian Husky that wanted me to teach him how to drive.

I tried, but he could not turn the starter key! In the summer, when we were limited to going down Main St. at 5 mph because of tourist traffic, he'd try to talk to people on the street to tell them how happy he was to be riding in the car and how much he was going to enjoy his walk on the beach . Even strangers , who at first jumped back in fear , then realized he was "talking" and would look at him trying to figure out his message. My wife, Carol, and I rescued him from an abusive owner. We gave him 10 years of a happy, healthy life with a family that loved him and welcomed him into our "pack".

Thanks, My Dad always had dogs, so I grew up with them. First was a field trial champion's offspring, Ike, a Labrador retriever. We grew up together and were "best friends", I still miss him as well as Nicky the Husky.

Bet you understand what he's trying to say, and he understands what you say better than most people think.
