FAIR leaders have ties to white supremacist groups and eugenicists and have made many racist statements. Its advertisements have been rejected because of racist content. FAIR’s founder, John Tanton, has expressed his wish that America remain a majority-white population: a goal to be achieved, presumably, by limiting the number of nonwhites who enter the country. One of the group’s main goals is upending the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, which ended a decades-long, racist quota system that limited immigration mostly to northern Europeans. FAIR President Dan Stein has called the Act a "mistake."

Three weeks after winning the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump was struggling badly to accept the fact that he received far fewer votes than his opponent. The Republican’s discomfort was so intense, he started making up claims that bordered on delusion.

“In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide,” Trump said, referring to a landslide that exists only in his imagination, “I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.” He soon after started referring to “the so-called popular vote.”

Two months later, the new president still has a tenuous relationship with reality.
At the top of President Donald Trump’s agenda for his discussion with congressional leaders Monday night: relitigating the campaign, including saying “illegals” voting deprived him of a victory in the popular vote.

The claim of widespread voter fraud in the 2016 presidential election, which Trump argued in late November, has been widely debunked.

Two sources confirmed to NBC News that Trump spent about the first 10 minutes of his bipartisan meeting with congressional leaders at the White House talking about the campaign and about how 3 million to 5 million “illegals” voted in the election, causing him to lose the popular vote.
The rationale for the president’s brazen lying is easy to understand. Americans were given a choice between two major-party candidates; Trump lost by nearly 3 million votes; and he lacks the tools necessary to deal with the implications of the results.

As a result, the president apparently finds it necessary to keep reality at arm’s length, because the truth hurts his feelings. It leads him to embrace a comforting, albeit ridiculous, lie – or to use the Trump White House’s preferred parlance, alternative facts.

That said, this is the sort of lie that should give pause to all Americans, including Trump’s most ardent Republican followers.

All conservatives are clinging to that lie. They have to as affirmation (lying) is how they validate their beliefs. Coming in number two isn't a very good way to validate that they have the support of the country. Of course neither are puny crowds for the inauguration against huge crowds protesting Donald Dump becoming president. Cons create their own reality and it's hard when reality smacks them so thoroughly in the face. Dump has to lie. What other choice does he have to make--accept the truth? When has that ever happened...

I have noticed a similarity in all you anti-American Progressives. You are all delusional and have no concept of reality. The only thing you have done for the country is Well as hard as I try I fail to see anything you have done for the nation. Stop me when I'm wrong. You have never been in the military, held a job longer than a few months, served in the peace core or donated any of your time to any organization for the betterment of man or animal. You were never a boy scout and you have other family members sucking the government sugar tit besides you that goes back three generations. You believe every word the media speak unless it doesn't fit your 'government owes me a living' agenda.

Now I know what you are thinking, who is this guy, do I know him, can he read my mind. The answer is no, no, and you have to have a mind to be read. It's just you are all the same, a vermin class that if eradicated would make the world a better place.

You think Trump cares much about it. The So What is just that. So What? You prove he lied. Will anyone care? Much bigger things are happening. I get it. You guys just lost your King and your perceived queen was a worse choice than Trump and you got beat. People are waking up to the lies (much bigger than crowd size) the left has been throwing out. Your constant whining, need for safe spaces, boycott tantrums are backfiring in your face. You are too lemming like to see it which is O.K. with me. When Trump tries to put legislation together to help the inner cities and you idiots get your depends in a wad because he used the word carnage it points out how much the left really cares. Not at all. You guys would rather see the inner cities crumble and the residents left without hope then have someone you didn't vote for actually help them. You get bent out of shape about the slogan America First for crying out loud. If that bothers you please move to the country you would like to be first.
