Jewish historian Josephus, who lived in the time of Christ testified tenitively to Christ as a "righteous man...If I am allowed to call him so"...Check that out also and Luke's chapter is actually a legal transcript under testimony that would have been held as perjury in the day it was written...But the lazy administrators apparently failed to report. So that has to stand as a historic document along with the Gospel accounts which by definition are also sworn statements of sorts that would also then have to be included in the history of Christ.

In fact, one authority (IE: converted Christian lawyer Lee Strobel) comments that there are probably more reliable accounts of his life and ministry and death; as there were for the life and death of Julius Caesar.

Some things you have to take on faith until the Messiah comes. I may not take the entire creation story literally, but I know the modern human race started with Adam and Eve and the story in Genesis 3 is accurate. That story will be the parable at the Messiah's trial. Psalm 49:4, Psalm 78:2. I also believe in Noah's flood, but I think it was local and confined to the middle east, the entire known world, and the cradle of civilization. I am a fundamentalist and I believe the OT is the word of God. If these stories are not true, God is a false witness, and that is a sin God cannot commit. The answer to the riddle, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" is found in Genesis 1:21. The rooster came first, God created the fowl, and the male of the species was created first. Then the hen and egg were created together.

My Messiah is God incarnate and he will be worshipped in the Temple. Your messiah has been reincarnated and he will cause the true Messiah to be killed. Your messiah will then make a covenant with the 210 million or so people left alive. He will take over the Temple, claim to be God and demand to be worshipped. He is the "abomination of desolation". He will give the Messiah three days to rise from the dead and then he will cut off the Temple rituals established by the real Messiah. The Messiah will not be resurrected after three days. It will be a little bit longer. This is in the seventy weeks prophecy in Daniel 9:24-27. When the real Messiah comes back from Heaven, your messiah, Jesus will burst into flames along with all those who are left that follow him. Ezekiel 28:18-19. Zechariah 14:12.

Correction to what I wrote. Earlier about the rebirth of Israel is not a factor of four times but seven given in Leviticus 26:18. "And after this, if you do not obey me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins"

So the period of 360 years of further punishment declared by Ezekiel 4:3-6 was multiplied by seven times.

Sorry for error. Anyway the algorithm predicting Israel's rebirth is as follows:

360 years *7=2,520 years biblical years.

Converted to callendar years =2,483.8

Babylonian captivity ended in the spring of 536 B.C.

So 536-2,483.8=1,947.4

To adjust for the fact there was no year zero between 1 B.C. and A.D. 1...
