If you addressing your comments to me, you need to learn to use the reply to comment under the post you are making comment. Post tribulation or pre tribulation? There is only one place God is available to you and that is always in the present, the "now" not ten minutes ago or an hour from now. This pre and post nonsense is not apostolic theology that was practiced by the early church but a modern invention within the past 500 years.

My concern, not my problem, is the heresy that constantly crops up anytime issues of the faith are brought up. Most people are intelligent to the point that they would never be treated for a life threatening illness by a physician who knows as little about the practice medicine as they do about Christian theology. Yet they think nothing about trusting their eternal life on their personal opinions and feelings. You fall into that category and if someone challenges or corrects you, as I have, you call it snarky. There may be an outside chance that I know more than you do and intentionally challenge you. If, however, you choose to ignore me, I will not be offended because I will continue to defend the faith and fight against heresy and nuts like Susan. Thank you for calling me a young man. I'm only 76 but there are many hard years amassed in that short time.

I tend to agree with you on everything you just wrote. The reason I brought up the pre tribulation thing is that there is something political among churches like there is with the global warming fraud or the state controlled religion of evolution. If a church teaches post trib they get ostracised by the rest of the church community. Now why is that?

That's one reason I don't go to church. They let the country morally backslide and the media run wild with constant lies and distortion. Not a peep from the pulpit and all so politically correct....

Sue is stuck in her own world view just like we all do and a worldview has a nasty habit of ignoring facts like for example they get the fact that Jesus died a real death but ignore all the witness accounts of his reserection and by women who in those times were not trusted which makes the witnessing all that more credible then what you would expect if they actually fudged the data.

I also cringe where they talk about our idolatry when it's not.

For a long time in my life I resisted the salvation news untill I helped a friend in college get an abortion. Then I had to live with that the rest of my life.

Relief only came when I accepted Christ, did some research and then discovered what it was really all about.

And as a graduate student it wasn't until later that I discovered the lies of evolution and lame doctrines they preached as truth.

Had my mind not been filled with such mush I might have told the girl and helped her face her parents to save the child and put it up for adoption rather than driving her to the clinic.

A day still doesn't go by that I don't ask God for for forgiveness even though I have long since repented and know that my sins are now covered.

Guilt lasts a life time, with or without repentence. The trick is being responsible for our own guilt and not carry the burdens of another, the ones who project their guilt onto others. Took me til age 40, to figure that one out. Thank God!!!

confession of sin and absolution removes both sin and guilt if you truly are sorry for the sin and, where possible, made reparations for those sins. The wounds of sin, the scars remain and that is good because they remind us of the consequences of our sins. To carry the burden of guilt constantly on your back denies the sacrifice Jesus paid for every one of our sins.
