If the question you really intended to ask was why did Bush send our military to fight and die in Iraq and Afghanistan, that which people like you like to refer to as Bush's War, then the answer is a bit more involved. First, America was attacked on 911 and we lost more Americans that day than we lost at Pearl Harbor. I suspect if you were out of "nappies" on 911 then you, like most Americans, were outraged and during the following weeks American patriotism rose to high marks. We knew who our enemy was and where we could find him and bring him to us and begin to kill him. Bush, and the rest of us, understood it was better to fight them over there than in the heartland and before Obama, there were no further attacks in our homeland. Bush went before the Congress and the congress gave the president permission and the necessary funding to take the war to our enemies. All the Democrats, except one I believe, were "for the war before they were against it." Democrats help start wars but they never can stay focused and determined long enough anymore to win them. Iraq and Afghanistan have been our longest war but we have suffered far fewer death than previous wars. I won't go into Obama losing the war in Iraq by his leading from behind strategy and creating ISIS. Afterall, he did become confused about who we were fighting and could not identify them by name and nomenclature and ideology and religion. You already know all about that.
