An AIRHEADS take:

Sally Field Still Coming to Terms with Trump Win: ‘I Just Don’t Understand It’
(Breitbart) – Four weeks after Donald Trump’s stunning victory over Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, Sally Field still can’t understand how the billionaire Republican businessman pulled it off.

In a heated interview on Chelsea Handler’s Netflix talk show this week, the 70-year-old actress said that she joined Twitter the day after the election in an attempt to make sense of Trump’s win.

“If you look at his past, if you look at his history, there is no evidence that he can do one single thing that he says he’s going to do,” Field told Handler. “He has shown to be everything that he accuses and has accused Hillary Clinton of being. It is now evident he is all of those things, every single thing that he accused her of.”

Field said she doesn’t believe that everyone who voted for Trump is a “bad and horrible” person, but she just can’t understand how he won.

“I want to know what other people are thinking,” the actress said. “I want to know why they voted for this man who does not stand for anything.”

Field also lamented that Trump won the Electoral College but lost in the popular vote: “I don’t understand why they call this a democracy and yet the people are not getting the representation that they voted for.”

Field campaigned for Clinton in California in June, joining other stars including Elizabeth Banks, Debra Messing and Mary Steenburgen at a rally in Culver City, where she defended the former Democratic candidate’s high unfavorability ratings.

“Women have spent the last one hundred years trying to get out from under the expectation that they had to be sugar and spice and everything nice,” Field said at the rally. “We don’t need sugar and spice and everything nice. We do need kindness. We do need generosity. These qualities are not the same as being likable.”

Without the Electoral College, we have no Democracy. The majority of her votes came from large population states. They should not be able to control the "United" States!

That is to hard for liberals, including Sally Field to understand.
BTW: This is a Republic.
NOT a Democracy; but the Left and Banksters sure have tried to make us into a "democracy".
They want total control of this Republic. Changing America into a democracy has helped pave the way.

Actors are not NORMAL people. Because their fame and star idol status, they have a very SKEWED sense of reality. We shouldn't shouldn't look upon them for their opinions.

Had Sally listened in school instead of dreaming about being an actor, she may have learned something about America and the political realities of life. Well Sally, I can explain it to you...but, I can't understand it for you...just thinkin'

Liberals have brain washed people like Sally. All she needs to do is read and she'll see we're not a Democracy and never have been.

I think there is a deep seated psychosis among highly successful actors. Most of it comes from thinking they are the recipients of undeserved wealth and that everyone else should have a share of said wealth. When you think about it, they don't make a car or an oven or a pair of shoes. They do nothing that increases the value of the world around them, and in many cases, demean the seekers of wealth, the people who actually produce something. They demonize those like Mitt that supply the capital to build things with movies like Wall Street. The Rockefellers, Vanderbuilts, Fords, etc. are characterized as robber barons when they are the ones who made the world a better place. Their motives behind their support for the climate change movement is a perfect example They want a world of 250,000,000 people that sits around and watches their movies and live in caves (except for them). They care nothing if a coal mine is shut down and all the people involved starve and the recipients of the cheaper energy are made poorer because we can no longer burn coal. At every turn they seek to control businesses with their support of stupid horrid things like the minimum wage.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for actors making whatever the market will bear. They should extend that notion to all walks of life. Just because they feel guilty for their accumulation of virtually unearned wealth, don't take it out on the startup businessman paying new workers as much as he can afford and as little as his employees are willing to accept. That's called freedom. It works.

P.S. I don't think I am any the better for having watched an episode of "The Flying Nun".

Ms. Field claims she "can't understand why anyone would vote for Trump." She could always ask somebody, (like Mike Wahlberg.) Oddly enough, I can't understand why anyone has to make a living by portraying somebody else.

Everything about this post displays the ignorance of Hollywood in general, and Sally Fields in particular. Politicians always promise the sky when it is patently obvious they cannot deliver. Hillary and Bernie promised free college and loan forgiveness for everyone, does anyone believe this is possible? As far as being unqualified who was less qualified than Obama? His sole accomplishment was being born half black and he promised pie in the sky hope and change. He did fulfill his promise, he changed everything for the worse and made us hope we would never have another like him.

Finally Sally needs a civics refresher, we are NOT a democracy. Deliberately, NOT a democracy. We are a Republic and the government was created that way so that the unthinking mob did not gain control of the government. The people are all of the people, not just California, New York City, Chicago and other Urban gimmee centers.
