Hours after a Green Party-backed campaign dropped its case in state courts they announce a change to their strategy to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvania's Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and said late Saturday night that it will seek help in the federal courts, rather than the state courts. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/12/04/green-party-switches-strategy-in-pennsylvania-recount.html

The recount in the battleground state could potentially cost taxpayers upwards of $12 million, according to Michigan Republican Party leaders. http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/11/30/jill-stein-michigan-election-recount-could-cost-taxpayers-12-million

I hope that the federal courts kick their shenanigans to the curb.
This is insane.

I have been reading and rereading the Constitution to see why she thinks this is a Federal matter.... as of yet, I can not see where she has a case. This does not mean that the current Federal judges will not find a loophole, but as of yet I can not find it. The 12th Amendment addresses these cases, but not recounts. Historically, elections has been individual states' prerogative. The last time the federal government, Congress, had to decide the outcome of an election was 1824... Jackson won 99 electoral and 152,901 popular votes; Adams won 84 electoral and 114,023 popular votes; Crawford won 41 electoral and 46,979 popular votes; and poor Henry Clay trailed the field with 37 electoral votes even though he had received 47,217 popular votes. When the dust settled, Adams became president. This could not have happened without Clay.... Clay forged an Ohio Valley-New England coalition that secured the White House for John Quincy Adams. In return Adams named Clay as his secretary of state, a position that had been the stepping-stone to the presidency for the previous four executives. Is Stein hoping for a repeat? If so, she may want to be aware that the "CORRUPT BARGAIN" did fulfill his ambition to become president.

The information you referenced, Penny, is very informative, but those were the days when our Holy Bible and Godly moralities hadn't yet been pushed out of our schools and government. The entire secular liberal progressive Marxist cabal is still in shock at the election results; and may never {God help "US"} revive. Their message has been "exposed," and America rejected it in a "WE THE PEOPLE," EARTHQUAKE VOTE!!! Our many thanks to Jose, Leroy, John, Mary, Wong, and their families!!! Hell, (D's) are incorrigible to the end. They are now "appointing" the likes of the professed, "devout" anti-Semite {pro-7th century barbaric Sharia Law} Muslim, Rep. Keith Ellison (D), to head the DNC, and actually re-hired Nancy Pelosi (D), to be their Minority Leader of the House. If that's not a complete death-spiral tail-spin, just take a good look at the pale, blood-drained faces and blabbering idiocies of their "state-run, alphabet channel, lap-dog" media. The "leaders" of-their-pack. I laughed so hard at Rachel Madsow's {on "MSLSD"} lack-luster, horrified, (D)isbelieving, loathsome, "woe is me," nauseated reaction to their worst loss, EVER in history, that I could hardly breathe. This past POTUS election was not just a LANDSLIDE, for PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, but an entire rebuttal of the radical Marx/Alinsky ideology and agenda that jammed the ACA down our throats with not a single Republican {or American} inference or vote. Rejected. Repudiated. Totally (D)ismissed. Rebuffed. No ifs ands or buts. And what do they do??? DOUBLE-DOWN. "LIBERALISM," is now being seen by America, {with the mask off}, as a rioting, burning looting, vandalizing, "PIG" killing, protesting and (D)emonstrating mob, and our situation is no longer even political anymore; it's a well-paid, Soros/MB organized, capitalistic anarchy, {much like the early '70's SDS/Weather Underground}, that is {like the SDS/WU}, waving the red and yellow "Hammer and Sickle" communist flag about, and are about to get "rapidly crushed" {Saul Alinsky}. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!!!

Heard Stein say she knows she can't overturn the election but wants to make sure every vote was counted. So she picks three states, that coincidentally Trump won to challenge. Hillary won New Hampshire by 3000 votes a much slimmer margin. Another coincidence anyone? Now we see she has recieved 7 million dollars and says she needs another million to fight Michigan. I'd laugh but it's so sad that democrats have become basically an ATM for lost causes. Liberals constantly brag they are more educated. Might be true. Also might want to start using that education and quit wasting money.

The Feds have no standing to intervene in any state's election process..........but........because we have been conditioned to tolerate the abuses of the Administrative State........here we go again! It is now the ninth inning; are people really capable of self government? I remain doubtful.

I thought the Democrats were complaining about the $7 million that the Republicans were wasting on the Benghazi House Investigation where Hillary's home-brewed Email scandal erupted?

And, I thought Jill Stein's $7 million in contributions were suppose to fund these recounts?
