Idiocy on display. Methane is CH4, it will, as it rises in the atmosphere and is subject to electric discharge, uv and higher solar radiation, quickly under go combustion into one CO2 and two H20 molecules. Aside from making CA beef and milk VERY expensive, nothing will happen in the climate arena, nothing at all. What they are working on s a Mag-Lev transportation to get CA residents to Las Vegas at 311 mph , yeah, they've got their priorities in order........maybe not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California%E2%80%93Nevada_Interstate_Maglev

When Californians put "free the chickens" initiative on the ballot, 90% of the poultry industry moved to Nevada along with California jobs and the California tax base. The Citizens of California are simply not rational.

Oh, please, bring back more trains and end the miles and miles of ten lanes of gridlock. Cars are ruining the earth.
If one wanted to commit suicide, one would lock himself in the garage and turn on the ignition, smothered to death from carbon dioxide.
Yet the public gleefully locks itself into gridlock every morning and night, deranged in road-rage from breathing in the very same carbon dioxide, in a semi-suicide. We need trains. We need light rail. The carnage of humans and wild life is reaching the point of absurdity. The animal kingdom will sing our praises when we get out of our cars!

I used to drive a car like this one. http://carsforsale.sportscardigest.com/f1-dreams-1971-royale-rp3a-formula-ford/ loved it , raced it. I had one of these for the street. http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/listing/1972/ferrari/dino--246--gts/1532237 same color too. REALLY loved that car......Didn't use much gas either and could do 145 mph.....

The personal vehicle is a status symbol.
And people want to be isolated during travel.
I agree trains are a great vehicle.

I feel bad for the dairy farmers. I know some and they work harder than anyone else I know. It is a shame that a bunch of looney toon jackasses who never did a hard days work in their lives have the power to screw with the farmers.

If the Governor Moonbeam really wants to go green, then why not take money out of the highway fund and put it into rail expansion?
Surely, the 40,000,000 people in California fart more methane gas than the cows.
These people are irrational.

Yes, it is right that we sympathize with these dudes who get up before dawn to feed and milk the cows 24/7. The cows take no holidays.
One way to solve the problem is to stop government subsidizing student loans and make the budding little geniuses work on the farms and help with the harvest during summer vacation to pay their own way through college.

In fact, the cost of college might come way down if the government stopped subsidizing it, making it affordable to rich and poor alike.

Imagine if little Barry and Michelle spent one month working a dairy farm.
