Methane is CH4, it will, as it rises in the atmosphere and is subject to electric discharge, uv and higher solar radiation, quickly under go combustion into one CO2 and two H20 molecules. Aside from making CA beef and milk VERY expensive, nothing will happen in the climate arena, nothing at all. I feel bad for the dairy farmers. I know some and they work harder than anyone else I know. It is a shame that a bunch of looney toon jackasses who never did a hard days work in their lives have the power to screw with the farmers.

If the Governor Moonbeam really wants to go green, then why not take money out of the highway fund and put it into rail expansion?

Yes, it is right that we sympathize with these dudes who get up before dawn to feed and milk the cows 24/7. The cows take no holidays.
One way to solve the problem is to stop government subsidizing student loans and make the budding little geniuses work on the farms and help with the harvest during summer vacation to pay their own way through college.
In fact, the cost of college might come way down if the government stopped subsidizing it, making it affordable to rich and poor alike.
