This is the most entertaining this site has been in ages, seeing all these people rewriting history as fast as they can type. None of them seem to remember the years of castigating Obama, demonizing Democrats, liberals and pretty much everyone else. All the claims of rampant voter fraud, right up until their people win, then - it apparently was NOT a problem. They don't recall celebrating the GOP lead Congresses repeated efforts to block or undo everything the President did or said, or the hateful comments made about him in public.

Nope, none of that ever happened, which is why they now criticize folk for doing the same to Trump, even going so far as to suggest that folk just accept it - and join the new President for the sake of the country. That is absolutely hilarious! They've even forgotten that the Senate majority leader made the statement, before Obama even took office, that their only job, was to see him be a one term President. Wow! That really set the tone for some unity of purpose, for the sake of the country, no? Now, these same people are calling on all Americans to get behind the new President, and drop their prejudices and complaints.

If this is not a textbook example of hypocrisy - I don't know what it is - but it damn sure isn't even remotely similar to reality. Keep it up! I say. This really funny!

It's become really weird. I remember when people used to vote for the good of the country. It didn't really matter if it was a Democrat or Republican. Now people just stick to their party no matter who runs...it could be Hitler, and they wouldn't change parties. They vote for the goodies they can get and too bad about the country or their neighbors. Go on and ramble on with your nonsense. It seems you're one of those who doesn't care what happens to our once great country because it seems you vote for the Democratic/Communist party. This time, thank God, it seems some found that the country had gone SO sour that they had to cross over. ANYTHING other than another Obama type. We took on Obama peacefully. The country is the worse for it.

The difference this time around is that Our President-Elect was being vilified by Dems and GOP Elite and the Media and still won...
The difference this time around is the Dem Voters were the ones who stayed home rather than Vote...
The difference this time around is that Our President-Elect is not beholden to Big Business or Wealthy Supporters or either Party or the Media...
The difference this time around is the Citizens who Voted Donald J Trump into Office will have most of what has been promised fulfilled...

Not hypocrisy because all the things NOT protested about obammy were actually true. He is a mooslime sympathizer, great racial divider, queerification of the military, undermining of Christian religious expression, devastation of the traditional marriage and family with the lgbtqueer agenda, refusing to enforce immigration laws, releasing illegal alien criminals back into society to rape and murder, health care disaster. Yep obammy has been great!

But let's complain, protest and riot about Trump and he hasn't even been innaugurated.

As someone who seems to know up from down, pointing out the indiscretions of Congress does little to move us forward.
History , cannot be rewritten.
Only lies can be exchanged.
Even the youngest among us surely knows the truth from fiction.
Point the way Major, you are a top player In Stratego. ( Remember Stratego?)
It is easy to criticize, but it takes Cajones to step up and lead.

Regarding the much touted GOP obstructionism; were you referring to Obama's budgets that were defeated 414-0 in the House? Or perhaps the Obama budgets that died in the Senate 98-1 and another at 99-0? I didn't realize the Republicans held such a majority.

The Democrats like to beat up any one who uisn't one of them. They attacked President George W. Bush more than Trump. Back in the 80's, they hated Reagan and wanted to demonize him, but no matter what they said or did, those stupid people loved him. The only thing they had to attackhim on was his age. They whinned that he was too old to be President. But, the Gipper used their attacks to his advantage. In 1980, before a primary debate, a reporter asked Reagan if he thought the issue of age would come up during the debate. He answered, "Certainly not, I have no intentoin of bringing my opponents youth and inexpeience into the debate." Bringing up the age issue was brought up to try to hurt Reagan's chances, but instead it helped him win the nominatoin because the people saw that he was quick wittedd. As president, when there was a discusoin about something in the Constitutoin, he said that when Thomasx Jefferson wrote that in the Constitutoin, this is what he meant. Some one onthe other side asked him how he knew what Thomas Jefferson meany. Reagan smilked and said that Jefferson told him so, using their constant attacks on his age as a joke. Unfortunately, attacking those who disagree with one is standard operating procedures for politicians of either party. Kind of reminds us of when our children were 2 year olds.

I agree "this is the most entertaining this site has been in ages." I haven't had time to participate on OPP the past year & a half but have checked in 2 or 3 times to see how the RW extremist nutcase participants were positioned on their fellow traveler's candidacy in the primaries, the election, and now their positioning after the unexpected electoral college win. What I find entertaining is the degree to which their extreme and conspiracy thinking is now having to adjust to realities and responsibility. Quite a reversal in the usual tone with OPP communication now.

"Unexpected electoral college win"? I think that mindset belongs to the moonbats that were assured through corporate media monkey rigged polling and propaganda that bitch clinton was going to be annointed..er..coronated..er..elected. That is evidenced by their violent temper tantrums they are now throwing an d demands of doing away with that same electoral college bitch clinton supposedly had locked up. Those "uneducated" white males along with the deplorables got tired of being the establishment of both dems and repubs whipping boy. That's the reality there, moonbat.
