We better get to bailing fast. We could wind up in another recession if we don't do something to help ourselves

We need a badass with scuba gear to plug the hole while we all bail! I'm not sure there is such a person anymore!
America has a diarrhea problem that no amount of Immodium can fix!😨

I have an idea. You start from there, I'll start from here. We'll conquer everyone between us, meet in the middle, and branch out together. How's that sound?

What would you have the owner of a Co.do for the "worker"?If a worker is worth $35/hr.should they get $50/hr.just because the co.is profitable?Just curious what you mean and what you consider fair.If you hire a plumber and he wants $50/hr.do you give him $75.
How about just liveable wages with some insurance like we had in the good old days

We can do the best we can from our little corners of the world. Our leaders need to concentrate on fixing our problems because that is what we hired them for. We need to show them who is boss and make them earn their keep.

Not just our leaders. Our followers to!! Hard to have a working country when everyone writes papers, and prognosticates for a living. Who will deliver their paper? Or drive the truck that hauls it? Who will fix their leaky roof, plumbing, A/C, etc.....

Our country is too big to be a "scratch each others back" society, we must produce something.
Without a product we'll just wind up with bloody backs and finger nails!

Obviously, economics is not one of his strong suits. He also only gets his news from the MSM because the real unemployment and the types of jobs that are created are not honestly being represented.

I had the rare opportunity last night to have a long discussion with a very bright 21 year old friend of my children's who was a strong Sanders supporter who voted for Hillary. I think it's important to really see and hear the other side's point of view, especially of our future generation.
Here is just a sample of the long discussion, but was the part that was the eye opener for me:

"By it's very nature capitalism produces winners at the expense of the losers. The only thing stopping the winners from keeping the losers down permanently are government regulations. Well, the problem is that the winners tend to find their way into government decision making and we get things like the financial collapse in 2008.

With technology improving, automation is increasing. This means jobs will go away in certain markets, and that's going to be bad at first but good in the long run. Eventually we may look back in history and scoff at the idea that people had to go to work every day. So we might as well start talking about things like basic income or how to implement a system where everyone has their basic needs met without having to work.

Mark my words, his policies will only hurt the the working class. We don't have a jobs problem, unemployment is at a good rate. The problem is the past generation or two has been unable to find upward mobility or jobs that allow them to thrive, thus shrinking the middle class. Average income is either remaining the same or decreasing while costs and inflation are rising. Pissing off the countries we do business with and deporting millions of immigrants is only going to cause economic turmoil and the expenses will get passed on to the middle class."

Comments anyone?

If no one works, where will the money come from?
Are most Americans satisfied with the basics? Nope, that's why we work hard - to have nice things.
Kid's an idiot.

The first statement about capitalism should give you your first clue. Free market capitalism offers the greatest chance for a person to rise in their economic status than anything ever conceived. Does he think Communism is going to allow people to fare better than they would under capitalism? How about Socialism? No working? Unemployment is at a good rate? Are you kidding? Has he bothered to analyze how the current administration figures unemployment? The fact that he embraces Sanders tells me he is not thinking straight. The fact that he voted for Hillary convinces me that he is not thinking straight. The liberal profs in our liberal universities today are not doing us a service.

I love the expression from George Orwell's "Animal Farm" regarding Communism: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others"...

This is what you get when you send your children off to college- programed androids. Independent thought is forbidden.

Contrast capitalism to the first failure of Socialism/communism in America in 1620.
On the brink of starvation the Pilgrims had to abandon their socialist experiment to survive.

This opinion is nothing but a product of pure indoctrination. Rather than offering a required course on the Constitution, our universities are more inclined to offer a course on the"Rules for Radicals". Professors are more likely to ask you to dissect Hillary's "college thesis" and pick out all of the positive points presented by Saul Alinsky. It's all indoctrination shoved down your throat.
