Taking the education exemptions required in the law is not daft dodging. Everyone subject to the draft law gets six years of exemptions. After that, they are subject to the draft , and, as you know, the folks subject to the draft were assigned a number, if your number was higher than the target number the chances of being drafted were nearly zero. So damned few were drafted, no "evasion" was needed.

Why do you think there are some many high priced CPA firms in this country. The reason you pay a CPA or tax filing company is they have the knowledge and expertise to take advantage of these LEGAL tax loop holes.
