Bombshell: Psychiatrists drugging children for "social justice"

Here today, gone tomorrow. As if nothing ever happened.

This piece is about tyrannical (and quite insane) psychiatrists, who see themselves as social justice warriors on behalf of the poor, the ignored, the forgotten, the oppressed.

These doctors have a strategy that scrambles brains, causes violent behavior, and deepens the problems of inner cities and their inhabitants. Their "solution to inequality" involves drugs, and opens a gateway from dangerous drugs to very dangerous drugs. It's a chemical road to perdition.

Major media gave the scandal scant "fair and balanced" coverage in 2012 and then fell silent. Why bother following up? In fact, why bother getting the story right the first time?

Here we go. Buckle up:

It's the latest thing. Psychiatrists are giving children in poor neighborhoods Adderall, a dangerous stimulant, by making false diagnoses of ADHD, or no diagnoses at all. Their aim? To "promote social justice," to improve academic performance in school.

The rationale is, the drugged kids will now be able to compete with children from wealthier families who attend better schools.

Leading the way is Dr. Michael Anderson, a pediatrician in the Atlanta area. Incredibly, Anderson told the New York Times ("Attention Disorder or Not, Pills to Help in School") his diagnoses of ADHD are "made up," "an excuse" to hand out the drugs.

"We've decided as a society that it's too expensive to modify the kid's environment. So we have to modify the kid," Anderson said.

It would be hard to find a clearer mission statement from a psychiatrist: mind control.

A researcher at Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Ramesh Raghavan, goes even further with this chilling comment: "We are effectively forcing local community psychiatrists to use the only tool at their disposal [to 'level the playing field' in low-income neighborhoods], which is psychotropic medicine."

So pressure is being brought to bear on psychiatrists to launch a heinous behavior modification program, using drugs, against children in inner cities.

It's important to realize that all psychotropic stimulants, like Adderal and Ritalin, can cause aggressive behavior, violent behavior.

What we're seeing here is a direct parallel to the old CIA program, exposed by the late journalist, Gary Webb, who detailed the importing of crack cocaine (another kind of stimulant) into South Central Los Angeles, which went a long way toward destroying that community.

It is widely acknowledged, and admitted in the Times article, that the effects of ADHD drugs on children's still-developing brains are unknown. Therefore, the risks of the drugs are great. At least one leading psychiatrist, Peter Breggin, believes there is significant evidence that these stimulants can cause atrophy of the brain.

Deploying the ADHD drugs creates symptoms which may then be treated with compounds like Risperdal, a powerful anti-psychotic, which can cause motor brain damage.

All this, in service of "social justice" for the poor.

And what about the claim that ADHD drugs can enhance school performance?

The following pronouncement makes a number of things clear: The 1994 Textbook of Psychiatry, published by the American Psychiatric Press, contains this review (Popper and Steingard): "Stimulants [given for ADHD] do not produce lasting improvements in aggressivity, conduct disorder, criminality, education achievement, job functioning, marital relationships, or long-term adjustment."

So the whole basis for this "social justice" program in low-income communities---that the ADHD drugs will improve school performance of kids and "level the playing field," so they can compete academically with children from wealthier families---this whole program is based on a lie to begin with.

Meddling with the brains of children via these chemicals constitutes criminal assault, and it's time it was recognized for what it is.
The Matrix Revealed by Jon Rappoport
In 1986, The International Journal of the Addictions published a most important literature review by Richard Scarnati. It was called "An Outline of Hazardous Side Effects of Ritalin (Methylphenidate)" [v.21(7), pp. 837-841]. Adderall and other ADHD medications are all in the same basic class; they are stimulants, amphetamine-type substances.

Scarnati listed a large number of adverse affects of Ritalin and cited published journal articles which reported each of these symptoms.

For every one of the following (selected and quoted verbatim) Ritalin effects, there is at least one confirming source in the medical literature:

* Paranoid delusions
* Paranoid psychosis
* Hypomanic and manic symptoms, amphetamine-like psychosis
* Activation of psychotic symptoms
* Toxic psychosis
* Visual hallucinations
* Auditory hallucinations
* Can surpass LSD in producing bizarre experiences
* Effects pathological thought processes
* Extreme withdrawal
* Terrified affect
* Started screaming
* Aggressiveness
* Insomnia
* Since Ritalin is considered an amphetamine-type drug, expect amphetamine-like effects
* Psychic dependence
* High-abuse potential DEA Schedule II Drug
* Decreased REM sleep
* When used with antidepressants one may see dangerous reactions including hypertension, seizures and hypothermia
* Convulsions
* Brain damage may be seen with amphetamine abuse

In what sense are the ADHD drugs "social justice?" The reality is, they are chemical warfare. Licensed predators are preying on the poor.

Some knotheads tried to put my nephew on Ritalin when he was 6, until I put a stop to it. It was the primary drug of choice for any child that displayed the least bit of "opposition" or "agitation", which is NOT a diagnosis supported by science or the DSM. The tragedy was further compounded by States providing a "crazy check" to parents of children so treated, thus gaining the parents complicity and compliance and in many cases caused parents to present children for treatment with a highly exaggerated list of symptoms to get that check.

I worked very hard to convince parents that this treatment was NOT needed in the first place and would lead to eventual brain damage in the child with long term use. The evidence of that was right there in plain sight as many college kids used Ritalin or Adderall as a "study adjunct" and suffered harm. IMHO, every parent of every child treated with those drugs, should sue the manufacturers of the drugs, the National child psychology association and every related entity that could have and should have put a stop to this practice years ago. I am convinced that many teen and young adult cases of PTSD and related maladies, are a result of prepubescent exposure to stimulants and a case may be made that later criminal tendencies were a result of the same exposure.

Tyere has been a debate for years on drugs used for psychiatric problems. Many of the top psychiatrists have been concerned that drugs were being way over used. Since the American Psychiatric Association decides what to put in the next DSM edition by vote not with any new research to back up the determination, politically correct determinations are very common. Managing little boys who are acting like little boys is often difficult for teachers, so drugs that will make the boys more obedient, quieter and more like little girls have been the rage for some time. Had this been the only voice with these concerns, I would have ignored it, but there are hundreds of researchers and therapists with the same conclusions.

And you shouldn't - and that's coming from someone who worked in the field of mental health for years. I had more issues with psychiatrists than I ever had with any other medical practitioner. I insisted on treating the patients issues, not other people's issues with THEM, which were rarely the same. I also resisted trying to force people's symptoms to comply with the DSM IV ( now DSM V ), just to make things easier for billing purposes.

Anyone seeking psychiatric help needs to get at least 3 other opinions, by physicians from completely different services, that is, not working for the same corporation.

I have said this for years; anyone who walks into a mental health facility will walk out with a diagnosis, period - it's how they make their coin. You're more likely to get an auto mechanic to tell you there's nothing wrong with your vehicle, than you are getting a mental health professional to say the same about you or a loved one. It takes TIME to make a qualified diagnosis, time to gain the patients trust and time to sift out the bullshit from the truth - a lot of time - but patients typically get a diagnosis for treatment within 2 visits. That's criminal in my book.

Amen, major!! Coming from a family of nurses, Drs, and Nurse Practioner, I've heard many a story, just as you describe here...

Also handled a case involving one where the patient, 5 hrs earlier told his Dr. He was committing suicide, yet the guy so sure he was bluffing, did nothing, the guy blew his head off later...

You know what he said when asked why he didn't follow the rules and admit the patient?? " He was fine after our session.."...A bit impressed with himself, yes???

I would never trust one, period...All they do is reiterate what you have said, not deal with, why, you said whatever..Couple pills, false cure and off to the next..

I call it "factory medicine", where the focus is keeping the assembly line moving, decreasing cost-per-unit ( patient ), thus increasing profits. Some call it "corporate medicine", but it's the same thing. Long gone are the days when the patient was the focus instead of the patients pay source, whereby the insurance companies lawyers and accountants practice medicine.

BTW, this is why I am in favor of a single payer healthcare system, NOT socialized medicine as some claim, but a system where medical practitioners run the system - not the Government. The Governments responsibilities begin and end with collecting premiums ( sliding scale premiums ) and paying the bills. My system requires representatives from all medical fields, including Nurses, Doctors, psychologists, educators, etc., to set National standards of care, standard pricing for all treatments and all related functions, the representatives to be elected to this body from all 50 States, not appointed by the ruling administration. It is considerably more complex than I have indicated here, but imminently doable and cuts corporations and the Government out of the medical decision loop. This body would work directly with all the professional associations to facilitate training, standards of practice, accountability and continuity of care. We've got to remove the corporate mind set from medicine and let practitioners practice medicine again, instead of becoming business people.

Have you ever suggested such to your representatives?? If not, you should consider doing so, now in the midst of elections...Heck, send it on to both Trump and Hillary for that fact...One never knows, major and nothing is lost in trying...

You parrot the party line nicely. For example your attack Rappaport as a Germ theory denialist. It so happens that Rappaport's description is right on. If the germ theory and contagion theories were true, how come all the doctors, nurses and other hospital workers are willing to work in the environment of a hospital loaded with germs? Why aren't they all sick all the time? How much would they have to pay those people if THEY truly believed the nonsense the public is taught? How often have you slept in the same bed with a spouse who was suffering from a contagious, “germ caused” illness, and you didn’t get sick. How come no scientist or doctor has ever been able to apply the steps of Koch’s postulates to prove that a specific germ causes a specific disease? As I was taught back in college, “The patient is everything, the germ is nothing.” And that is why you don’t have to worry about getting sick every time you visit a sick friend. It all depends on how healthy you are.

I worked as a doctor in the field of Health Care for 47 years with great success. What you have been taught to call "Health Care" has no relation to health. Rather people practicing medicine and associated fields are involved in symptom suppression, and first and last aid. What they do is in some cases very important and even occasionally saves life, and sometimes prematurely ends life, but don't ever confuse it with health care. "Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellbeing, and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity." This is the definition in Dorland's Medical Dictionary. I was curious as to what "wellbeing" meant; could not find a definition in any medical dictionary, so I went to Webster's and found that "wellbeing" means "Health" ??? So I looked further for definitions of health that really made sense and the best in my opinion stated that “Health is a condition in which all organs and parts of the being are functioning as nature intended”. And that includes the body’s immune function.

I've suggested it to everybody, but it's like I'm from another planet or something. The problem is, the insurance and hospital lobby are too rich, have too much of our cash to throw around and make their members, legislators and members of Congress far too much money, for the idea to get any traction. Cutting out the two largest middlemen would make healthcare affordable for everyone - by cutting out the pyramid schemes of hospital corporations, insurance companies and legislators, costing them 100's of billions of dollars in profits annually. Any surprise they're reluctant to get on board?

Even Libertarians get this wrong; there is no market pressure to lower costs for healthcare, only pressure to increase profits by minimizing care - and raising prices. There is literally no competition at all, because they are ALL in on the scam. An acetaminophen tablet that costs $0.005 to manufacture, sells for $15 on average at a hospital, with the profits shared between the manufacturer, distributer, provider and Insurance companies. That's a LOT of profit - on one pill. Add the same profit margin on 1,000,000 individual items and we begin to see the scam unfold and the reason why there is no pressure to do better.
