Hillary is a Bad BET for African Americans

Once again, BET (Black Entertainment Television) hosted their annual awards ceremony Sunday night, and, once again it turned political. During the show, various speakers, award winners and hosts used their platforms to encourage support for Hillary Clinton and to castigate Donald Trump.

It might be useful to ask all of these entertainers what has Hillary Clinton done for the black community? She has supported policies that have led to a doubling of the federal debt, more U.S. involvement in foreign wars, and unleashed the significant threat of Islamic terrorism. None of these positions have done anything positive for African Americans. In addition, her strong support of abortion rights has contributed to the disturbing reality that black babies are aborted at a much greater percentage than white babies. While African Americans comprise only 13 percent of the country’s population, black babies are the victims in approximately 36 percent of all abortions in this country. This is truly racist and should be stopped, but all Hillary wants is for Americans to have access to even more abortion services.

Her opponent, Donald Trump, is considered a bigot, racist, Neanderthal billionaire who hates all minorities. In reality, he has truly helped thousands of minority families by providing good paying jobs in his business. This gives his African American employees not only money to provide for their families, but self-worth, something Hillary Clinton and other liberals never provide.

The Trump track record of providing jobs and opportunity to African Americans did not matter one bit to show host Tracee Ellis Ross, who encouraged young women to register to vote and determine “the next president. Welcome to the White House Hillary Clinton.”

BET Chairwoman and CEO Debra Lee extolled the virtues of gun control and the Democrat sit-in in Congress. She presented the humanitarian award to Black Lives Matter activist and actor Jesse Williams.

In one of the most racist speeches ever given at an awards program, Williams said that America built a system to “destroy us.” He claimed that blacks in this country are oppressed and buried “out of sight, out of mind.” For good measure, he also added that “this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us.” He said that whites extract “our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil, like black gold, ghettoizing and demeaning our creations and stealing them.” To show the double standard in our country, just imagine if a white actor had used similar language to criticize black Americans. To say there would be an uproar is an understatement.

Interestingly, Williams is an actor on a television show, Grey’s Anatomy, with plenty of white co-stars, white viewers and white sponsors. If not for white support, Williams may not be a rich, successful activist winning awards from BET.

Later in the awards ceremony, actor Samuel L. Jackson praised Williams for his “true” remarks and encouraged people to go to the polls this fall and “take eight more people with you.” The goal, according to Jackson, was not to be “tricked like they did in London.”

Interestingly, Jackson is like so many liberal entertainers of all races who supported the United Kingdom remaining in the European Union. Fortunately, the majority of UK voters decided to restore their national sovereignty and end ties to the mammoth bureaucracy in Brussels, Belgium.

Despite plenty of warnings and fear mongering, the people of the UK did the right thing by voting for independence and freedom. This universal desire should be appreciated by celebrities like Jackson, but, unfortunately, they are brainwashed to support globalism and more international oversight, not less.

Just in case the message was not delivered strong enough, the awards ceremony ended with recording artist Usher wearing a T-shirt that read, “Don’t Trump America.”

Overall the awards show was a disgusting display of political favoritism and partisanship with episodes of outright racism. It is a shame that these celebrities are given so much acclaim. In reality, they are not doing their fellow African Americans any favors as the plight of black people in this nation has not improved after almost eight years of Barack Obama. It will just be more of the same with Hillary Clinton.

As crazy as it sounds, the best choice for African Americans in November is to support Donald Trump. He has experience doing what Hillary Clinton has never done – create jobs. This is a much better way to help African Americans than Hillary’s only solution, growing the ranks of people dependent on government programs.

This Statement is not 100% true due to Private Physician's are not required to report abortions, and more white women have a private physicians that will not report for the privacy of there patients. Now Trump believe there should be a punishment for an abortion

I think that if all abortions were required to be reported the numbers would be a little worse than what you have and not just for African American people but white as well. I say this due to not all state report correctly and private physician's are not required to report abortions, and more white and wealthier black women have private physicians that will not report for the privacy of there patients. Now Trump believe there should be a punishment for an abortion, I'm not a woman but that's one reason for me not to vote for him.

Now as for him hiring African American in his company that all good but that doesn't help every person in this country because not everybody needs a job or is able to move to where his jobs are if they do need a job. So not a reason to vote for him.

Now how was the BET awards show being racist? By encouraging young women to register to vote and determine “the next president? By encouraging people to go to the polls this fall and “take eight more people with you? By encouraging people to know what they're voting for and what it will mean for them? Is it because Usher wore a shirt that said Don't Trump America, if this one is why, then all the people wearing Anti-Hillary shirts are?

Now as for Mr. Williams speech I read it but didn't hear it first hand. So I ask what part of it is racist? When he talked about a black 12 year old boy being killed by police for having a toy gun in a park by himself in a OPEN CARRY STATE and no charges against the officer? When he talked about
“this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us.” He said that whites extract “our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil, like black gold, ghettoizing and demeaning our creations and stealing them.” ?

This is what happened with music like Jazz and Rap/Hip Hop, in fact for years Rap/Hip Hop music had been called trash, but now that there are white rap artist it's good, it's great and a white artist can make more money and have more fame for a song that a black person wrote and performed. Company's have been charged with charging their black customers more for the same products, banks charging more fees for the same loans making the requirements higher for the same loans and placing a lower value on the same homes and cars of there white counter parts. Calling a 12yr old boy a soon to be thug saying his parents are bad for allowing him to have a toy gun, calling the parents everything outside of there name and not even having the sorrow for there loss, but if Tamir had been white the story would have a different ending.

"He claimed that blacks in this country are oppressed and buried “out of sight, out of mind.” Can you prove this is not true?

For some reason in this country blacks are not allowed to share there pain, there experiences, they are not expected to have fear, empathy or pride. They are told get over slavery "You were not one and I was not a slave owner so get over it", but a Jewish person is not told get over the Holocaust and a white southerner is not told get over the Confederates losing the war. When blacks display civil disobedience it's called a riot, when whites display civil disobedience it's called a protest. Police fear one black man with a gun but not 11 white men with guns.

Right off the bat you missed, CDC began abortion surveillance in 1969 to document the number and characteristics of women obtaining legal induced abortions. Many states and reporting areas (New York City and the District of Columbia) conduct abortion surveillance. CDC compiles the information these reporting areas collect to produce national estimates. CDC’s surveillance system compiles information on legal induced abortions only. states and areas voluntarily report data to CDC for inclusion in its annual Abortion Surveillance Report. CDC's Division of Reproductive Health prepares surveillance reports as data become available. Now I wonder how many doctors are willing to preform abortions with insurance rates the way they are?

It would be better put, what have democrats done to earn their vote.
The history of the Democratic Party was overwhelmingly pro-slavery and pro-segregation. Lincoln’s successor, Democrat Andrew Johnson, vetoed the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and strongly resisted the passage of the 14th Amendment, which ensured equal rights and protections under the law, and was championed by Republicans. The subsequent Republican administration of Ulysses S. Grant implemented the Enforcement Acts of 1870 and 1871, which helped dismantle the KKK and protect black voting rights. This was followed by the Civil Rights Act of 1875.

It would be a fair question to ask what have the Republicans done to earn their vote......we could do this back and forth thing forever. You and your ilk are quick to point out what someone else is or isn't doing just to shift the focus away from your own negativity and faults. The electorate has caught on to your deceitful tactics and it doesn't work any more. Until the Republican change their rhetoric and focus to positives for everyone, they are doomed as a political party. You must be a special kind of stupid to think that the republican party has done anything to promote and protect black voting rights.......the civil rights act of 1875 was repealed by the Supreme Court and blacks were relegated as second class citizens until 1964. Almost 100 years later.....that's nothing to brag about.

There is not a single candidate on the horizon that is a good bet for anybody. As to Trumps job creating skills, yes he knows how to create jobs - and he knows how to layoff workers or sell their workplaces out from under them as well. Trump has caused more job LOSSES than he has employed, so we can safely discard that "skill" - even if job creation was the ONLY thing a President must have some knowledge of.

You can try to dress any of them up all you like, but America is screwed no matter WHO they elect as President - so the better bet is to concentrate on who is elected or re-elected to the Congress and try to force the Congress to do it's job. Were the Congress to become a functioning branch of the Government again, POTUS can go back to being a figurehead. Obama's overreach was a direct result of the Congress failing to fulfill it's function. He gained his "power" by default - and we know who's default that is.

Here, then, are just five of Donald Trump’s solutions for turning the nation around.
1.Foreign Interventions Must Require Cost-Sharing Plans to Reduce U.S. Costs and Guarantee Veterans and Their Families Are Protected

“Money is itself a weapon,” writes Trump.

Before America spends trillions of dollars fighting other nations’ battles, Trump says the U.S. should implement cost-sharing agreements similar to the one advocated in a September 2010 Government Accountability Office (GAO) study to reduce the cost burden on U.S. taxpayers and provide funds for the families of fallen or wounded soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines.

“It’s hardly a radical idea,” writes Trump. “In September 2010, our own GAO and others studied the issue in depth and concluded that a cost-sharing plan is feasible and wise. The report, titled “U.S. Cost-Sharing: Iraq Has a Cumulative Budget Surplus, Offering the Potential for Further Cost-Sharing” noted that the Iraqi government is running a $52.1 billion surplus. As Trump notes, director of the Defense Department’s Office of Net assessment Andrew Marshall, pointed out that oil revenues could also be used to offset the sticker price for U.S. intervention.

“Why are we footing the bill and getting nothing in return?” writes Trump. “I’ll give you the answer. It’s because our so-called ‘leaders’ in Washington know absolutely nothing about negotiations and dealmaking.”
2.Pass NOPEC Legislation to Break OPEC’s Grip on Energy Prices

In Time to Get Tough, Trump advocated passage of the “No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Act (NOPEC—S.394) which would amend the Sherman Antitrust Act to allow the U.S. government to sue OPEC for violating antitrust laws.

Trump notes the bill passed the Senate Judiciary Committee four times with bipartisan backing, “and in May 2008, the NOPEC bill passed the House” before “President George W. Bush got spooked and threatened to veto the bill” over fears of “retaliatory action” with wars raging in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Passing NOPEC, wrote Trump, would have allowed the U.S. to bust up the OPEC cartel.

“Imagine how much money the average American would save if we busted the OPEC cartel. Imagine how much stronger economic shape we would be in if we made the Iraqi government agree to a cost-sharing plan that paid us back the $1.5 trillion we’ve dropped on liberating Iraq.”

Trump added, “Just those two acts of leadership alone would represent a huge leap forward for our country.”

3.Crack Down on China’s Currency Manipulation by Calculating Taxes on Imports Based on How Much a Manufacturing Country’s Currency is Undervalued

Trump says he believes passionately in free trade, but only when the rules are fair and currency is properly valued. He cites a study by the Peterson Institute for International Economics that finds that even a 20 percent revaulation of Chinese currency would create 300,000 to 700,000 American jobs.

“Getting China to stop playing its currency charades can begin whenever we elect a president ready to take decisive action,” writes Trump. “[Obama] could start by signing into law a bill the U.S. House of Representatives approved on a 348 to 79 vote in September 2010. It would allow our government to calculate taxes on imports based on how much the manufacturing country’s currency is undervalued.”

Trump notes Obama’s then-Treasury Sec. Timothy Geithner warned such a move might spark a “trade war.”

“It’s the utter weakness and failure to fight for American interests from Geithner and Obama that have left us underwriting China’s economic rise and our own economic collapse,” writes Trump. “It’s a plain fact: free trade requires having fair rules that apply to everyone.”
4.Spur Job and Wealth Creation through a 5-Point Tax Plan

“People are smart,” writes Trump. “They know you can’t be ‘for’ jobs and against those who create them.”

That, says Trump, is why America’s president should advocate for and win a five-point tax plan to spark economic growth and allow Americans to keep more of what they earn.

First, Trump says the U.S. must repeal the death tax. He cites a CBO study that found the death tax is a proven jobs killer that “will strip $1.6 trillion of small business capital out of the hands of job creators” and will result in a loss of 1.5 million new jobs.

Second, Trump says smart tax policy includes lowering the tax rate on capital gains and dividends. “Capitalism requires capital,” writes Trump. “When government robs capital from investors, it takes away the money that creates jobs.”

Third, Trump would reduce the corporate tax rate to zero. “How can we expect companies to hire American workers and locate their businesses in America when our government taxes them at exorbitant rates for doing so?” writes Trump. “I want to encourage American companies to stay here and hire American workers, and I want foreign companies to relocate their businesses to the United States and create jobs here.”

Fourth, Trump says he would impose a 20 percent tax on those who outsource jobs overseas. Trump says “for those companies who made the mistake of sending their businesses overseas but have seen the light and are ready to come home and bring jobs with them, they pay zero tax.”

Finally, Trump says its time to implement a fairer and simpler income tax:
•Up to $30,000, you pay 1 percent
•From $30,000 to $100,000, you pay 5 percent
•From $100,000 to $1 million, you pay 10 percent
•On $1 million or above, your rate is 15 percent
5.Finish the Border Fence, Boot Out Criminal Illegals, and Reform America’s Legal Immigration System

Trump cites a 2011 GAO study that found America’s prisons house 351,000 criminal aliens who committed crimes after illegally entering America. “The GAO says that the annual price tag to incarcerate these thugs is $1.1 billion. And get this: criminal aliens have an average of seven arrests.” He says criminal illegal aliens must go.

In addition to specific reforms for America’s legal immigration system, Trump says the Commander-in-Chief must enforce existing immigration laws and finish the border fence.

Citing several studies, Trump says “properly built walls work. We just need the political will to finish the job.”

Trump’s Time to Get Tough lays out several more detailed conservative policy reforms, including cracking down on entitlement fraud, ending Obamacare, and reforming America’s ever-growing welfare state. As he puts it, America needs “a safety net, not a hammock.”

Were the Congress to become a functioning branch of the Government again, POTUS can go back to being a figurehead.
