I would find another gym. Do you not have private stalls in the bathroom there? You are correct in not letting the kid go into the men's room alone.

I love this gym except for that one thing. It is a good value and has great instructors.
It seems that a boy makes women nervous, though, I have not seen one naked woman there so I am not sure why.
And yes, there are stalls.
Don't know, I don't get it.
If I have to go and he doesn't I have him sing to me while he waits right outside the stall door.
He goes into bathrooms with me all the time.
I can understand a person thinking it is inappropriate to take a girl into a men's room. But what do you do?
Some said, in the comments, that there is nothing to see in a Women's restroom.
I can't imagine that there is much to see in a Men's either.
Don't men keep their pants up at a urinal? Do they wave it around? Yeah, doesn't really fit. I just like it.
I think what's going to have to happen is that all businesses will need to provide three facilities: women, family and men. I would not let a child under the age of sixteen go into a restroom alone these days. High schools need to have bathroom and locker room monitors as they do lunch room monitors, if they don't already. But the monitors should not be people like Jerry Sandusky.

I can't imagine why there would be a need for monitors. Students go into bathrooms between class and at lunch, they are rarely alone in there; the same goes for locker rooms. Kids shower in groups.
We need to teach and demonstrate the exercise of respect, I think.
I was thinking about that thread that you posted about the high school kid when this one came through on the news.

Two things to note: Starr is the star of Bill Clinton's impeachment, and Baylor is a Baptist college.
What a flaming hypocrite!

I don't take much interest in college sports. I have no idea of the standing of Baylor in football annals...I can't help but hope that Mr. Starr is charged with obstruction of justice and any associated crimes.
And then, that young women will stop trusting the institutions that are acting in anything but their best interests.
People need to tell their female relatives that money trumps their right to safety and as follow up insist on seeing the results of the rape kit testing.
Speaking of obstruction of justice charges, why aren't the people who made the decisions to ignore all of those rape kits under criminal indictment?

The sooner ALL people realize this, and put it together with the fact that a very few basically have all the gold, the sooner the majority will get out from under the hyper capitalism that is destroying societies.

Too many worship those people.
