Not only do liberals seem to think like that they sure as hell won't be able to believe that some of those reservation Indians in Oklahoma have some huge oil interests. The Cherokee seem to have some real oil on their plantation. One of them who played football for Oklahoma State in the 60s was making noise in a class that he had missed two days in a row and was being chastised by the instructor for so doing. He was one funny Indian and he told the fool that he had to go home to see how his horse was doing. Of course, the fool asked what was wrong with the horse and he answered that the darned fool horse had kicked a rock and uncovered some more oil. Of course, he was a chief of his tribe.

In the mid-80s an Indian from our school had several offers of scholarships from D-1 schools to play football but he found out that he could get all his room, board and tuition from the government, if needed, so he went to a school that he wanted to go to since the money was just as good, or better. Travis told me that as long as he could prove 1/8 Indian blood all the goodies were his. Ain't that something?

So true but her portion was 1/32 which is barely a little bit Indian. The woman across the street from us is 1/32 Cherokee and doesn't look any more like an Indian than Warren does. Her husband who is more like 1/8 some plains tribe told me about his wife.
