A bill set for fast-track passage in the South Carolina Senate would effectively nullify Obamacare in that state and could become a model for other states fed up with the presidents signature healthcare law.

South Carolina is know throughout US History to be the beginning point of many rebellions. They were the first to rebel against the British imposed Stamp Act in 1767, The confiscated tea that came into the port of Charleston and used the proceeds to fund the revolution. South Carolina was the birth place of the civil war crying out for secession long before the war began.

If s.c pisses off the gov. we can also not send our gas tax money to Washington for them to give it to other countries.

Thank God! This should have happened from the onset of Obamacare. In most cases states rights should trump the federal govt. The federal govt. is supposed to be tiny and only has a couple of responsibilities. One, to protect our exterior borders and second to protect us in cases of national emergencies such as epidemics, storm related matters etc.

Now that is another good idea. Let's do it before Congress increases the gas tax as has been reported.

Since we have discovered that our oil reserves are more vast than what is in the middle east our individual states should decide whether or not they want to drill and take advantage of the oil we have.

This one is, that's why I relocated here over ten years ago, I saw the writing on the wall in N.Y.S., take a look a that sewer, worse and worse every year, out of control gun laws, crime, taxes, its funny, it almost seems like California and N.Y.S. are on a mission to see which one can replicate Nazi Germany first.No its not "FREE" as in gimmie, gimmie., gimmie, I never said it was a handout state, I'm sure if your alive and comfortable in one of those then more power to you. I was not, and I am now, this state for the most part tries very hard to make sure as many as possible have the opp to get their fair share of the American dream without the freebies of the FED in your business 100% of the time, our federal government wasn't elected to tell us or for that matter force us into submission by way of mandate or federal bans on thing they feel aren't quite in our best interest. they were instituted to do the job we sent them there to do, remember no matter what your arguement or logic twisted or not,
