Glaucon-good for you, but you forgot "change". Remember, Hope and Change ? Many have lost Hope and are left with pocket Change. As an optimist I believe that America will survive its mistakes and ,in spite of a few setbacks, will continue to be the greatest country in the world. I also believe that a businessman at the helm might enhance our country's resurgence. Good Luck America !!!
You haven’t been paying attention. We got lots of positive change despite an obstinate Republican congress and Supreme Court. If you have been able to avoid seeing the positive change in our country by now, no one is going to cause you to be seeing it. Many have, indeed, lost hope and they are called Republicans. I agree that America will survive its mistakes and make many more mistakes and survive them and continue to be a great country.
I think experience is useful and Trump has absolutely no experience with public service administration and to have some is useful. I think cancer treatment is not moving as rapidly as I would like it , but I don’t want to get a successful business man to run cancer treatment and research programs. There is a lot to know about how government works and to administer and experience in the public sector to make it work most effectively.
