In the debate before last, the discussion was Donald Trumps policy of taking out the families of terrorists. So, lets define the ugly reality of what Trumps glib remarks would look like in the real world. Were talking about sending American soldiers to peaceful areas to shoot women and babies in the head because theyre related to someone who committed a terrorist attack. When the moderator noted that a former CIA director had said troops wouldnt obey that order because it was inarguably a war crime, Trump replied, "They wont refuse. Theyre not gonna refuse me. Believe me." Thats a dangerous statement, the sort of statement youd expect to hear from a fascist or a dictator.

Or a fascist dictator. While I don't think Trump would ever become a 'Fascist Dictator' I do appreciate how Donald is bringing out the fascism in the republican party. I almost expect to see his supporter goosestepping as they enter and leave the halls singing Zieg Heil as they go. I a party of worsts, he's seems to have a talent to finding even worse still...

I agree. And I can see a scenario where President Trump could assume dictatorial powers by creating a phony crisis that required him to declare martial law. I hope we don't have to cross our fingers and expect him to respect the Constitution.
