I don't believe there is one single regulation that would prevent all gun deaths, but it is likely this one could have been prevented if the woman who shot her child had a gun safety and responsibility training course.

There are regulations, I can't help it if the court system chooses to ignore them.
There is also no evidence the mother was smart either considering shes firing a gun w/ out even knowing what she's aiming, considering there is a child in the house.
Accidents happen, so every responsible person has to suffer, right?
I'll leave you w/ asking you to name one regulation that would have prevented her death (confiscation?) You mentioned that you know regulations would have, so name it.

I have been stupid myself, any number of times, too. Fortunately I have never been stupid enough to simply shoot through my front door, instead of simply saying "Hello" and finding out who might be on the other side of the door. I can't be bothered to feel sorry for people who have no sense and I can't guess why You do seem to have time for it? Especially when You are not into all or nones??
