Your dead wrong, I do not have a party! I look around and states with republican governors are doing better than those controlled by democrats.

Seriously, you need to come out of your "Republican bubble" and start learning which states are governed by Republicans and which ones by Democrats because the poorest state in the union is Mississippi where Republican Phil Bryant is the governor. The poverty line is 22%, and the average income is $37,095. Experts say if MS was an individual country it would be a Third World.

The richest state in the union is Maryland where Democrat Martin O'Malley is governor and the median income is $71,221, almost twice that of MS, and the poverty level is 10%. Now, which state would you want to live in?

I sure hope you live in a blue state because I want to live as far away as possible from anyone who thinks like you do. I live in a red state and wouldn't live anywhere else. You can keep your liberal politics and blue states. My kids live in a blue state, and they're trying to move out as soon as possible.

Of course, you're comparing apples to oranges in your argument. A better analysis would be to compare them over a 40-50 year period instead of using current data. But, then you don't want to do that as that would ruin your argument. Try reading this:

What confuses me are republican demands for smaller Gov. yet the previous Repub President expanded Gov. with a whole new Dept. Homeland Security. Now they want to shrink Gov. by reducing entitlements, which doesn't shrink anything but poor peoples food pantries. Neither party actualy wants to downsize or DHS would go away, USDA would merge with FDA, ATF and DEA would merge with ICE and so on. Both party certainly agree on this point - hypocrisy rules.

Facts are facts. People are being lied to, and it is easy to lie to them when you keep them uneducated, poor and dependent. I have lived in red and blue states, and I would take Massachusetts over Missouri any day. I could not get over the stupidity, or maybe just ignorance. Maybe it's just me, since growing up in Boston I had access to some of the best schools in the nation, but most people I met down south lacked even basic knowledge. Most even believed that Earth is only 6k years old despite all evidence and facts stating otherwise.

I wonder how well Maryland would be doing if it was to be cut off from the Federal Government teat. Along with Virginia, Maryland has a recession proof industry. Servicing the Federal behemoth. Poor Mississippi just can't compete with that.

And they should be as they mothers milk right there, Maryland, Virginia and mother DC. What the government call the poverty line is poverty for DC but for a great many places that's more than enough money.

Now if these so-called experts are so right then the government is responsible for more provertry with the average SS check being $1230.00

Sorry, I don't have to read anything to know that women have freedom in a blue state, in red states they have no freedom and this is in the 21st Century. So, don't go pushing your Conservative propaganda down my throat.

I live in a blue state that was recently taken over by the anti-choice GOP and already the poverty level is 18%. We have lost our freedom to vote, our freedom to choose, so GO POVERTY GO, GO UNEDUCATED GO, GOANTICHOICEGO.

In blue states women have a right to choose if the have children or not, that is not true in red states. They just love controlling other men's wives and girlfriends. THIS IS THE 21ST CENTURY, NOT THE 19TH.

So, if you do not mind the government controlling your wifes body or your girlfriends, then enjoy your time in a red state.

Personally, I want the government out of women's panties.

From Washington D.C. on northward to Maine is where a lot of the elites call home. You know those people that seem to think they are better than everyone else because they have and make a lot of money. Well I would much rather be around folks that are more genuine. Those folks that do most of the living and hard work in this country. The middle class and working poor. Those folks that will help out a neighbor or stranger when needed. Those folks that donate more money to charities than Biden. More time to help the sick and the poor than any elite would ever do. You keep your Maryland and Boston. I'll take my home any day. We aren't the richest when it comes to money. We are the richest though when it comes to love for our fellow brothers and sisters.

If you call abortion freedom, you don't even know the definition of slavery.

I personally like the freedom to choose so I will take a blue state anyday. Unfortunatly for me I moved to a blue state only to have the GOP take control. I have lost my freedom to vote, women have lost their freedom to choose, and the poor are paying taxes while the rich get richer.

So, you think the poor should be paying your taxes and not the rich? That leads to the high poverty levels in those red states. In Texas the poverty level is 18%, and 80% of Texans only have a high school diploma. NOW THAT IS SOMETHING TO GO OUT AND CELEBRATE, ISN'T IT?
