Yankee you are right. They have not stuck to their core conservative principles. That's why I don't understand preferring Trump. He has never been a Conservative. Cruz is the only true Conservative in the race.

I keep hearing about "core conservative principles" and I think most of them are near and dear to my heart, but when I read some of the comments about these principles, I am not so sure there is much agreement about what they are, I would appreciate it if you would list some of the most important ones and I will be happy to do the same. We can see the extent of our agreement on what they are.

I'll give you one example that's not in the books/ a liberal will give a man a fish & they will feed him for the rest of his life !!

A good conservative will also give a man a fish but will teach him how to fish for him self, a helping hand up & not down in the gutter like the 1st one.
