Perhaps, in this day and age, you might have realized technology in our present day has been weaponized through cyber-warfare. Example: Hackers broke into the office of Personnel Management exposing 22 million government employees, family and friends to theft of their data. Finance has been weaponized through banking sanctions and the balkinzation of global payment systems. This has come about through sanctions from the West on Russia and Iran. Education and travel have been weaponized through toughened visa restrictions. The Trans Pacific Partnership weaponized trade aimed in part at containing the expansion of Chinese machinations. Law has been weaponized through the extraterritorial reach of prosecutors, like the US prosecutor's’ indictment of senior FIFA officials worldwide on corruption charges.

Not New

A lot of this is not new of course. During conflicts and even gaps in conflicts countries have sought to marshal every attribute of national power to their own advantage. The new part is the velocity and impact of weaponizing today’s tools of global integration in an age of unprecedented independence. It seems the use of these tools have become ends unto themselves even without the conflict.

It has become crystal clear that the world has already become one by the market powers of interdependance. The globalization to fight these cyber hackers is here to stay and as long as there are ongoing terror threats worldwide the screwing down of our once enjoyed freedoms will, without a doubt, increase as we travel into the future.

Scripture Says

According to God’s word this is the time when this one endowed person with political persuasive speaking powers who facilitates engaging rhetoric comes on the scene, none other than the AntiChrist. He is the one with the charismatic personality that will galvanize the world into one body guaranteeing world peace and prosperity in our time. This time of peaceful globalization will replace war for a time as commercialisation solidifies the world into one grand totally interdependent power block.

2nd Phase

The second phase of this setup is rapidly falling into place because of the terror network the G-20 nations have allowed to flourish. The plan then will be to tap down ISIS allowing the have nots of the world the luxury and possession of desired goods & services that turns out to be the final weaponization, just read Revelation 9: 20-21, “And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues yet repented not by the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils and idols of gold & silver, brass, stone and wood: which neither can see, nor hear nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”

The Times We Are In

So ladies & gentlemen these are the times directly ahead, but first the rapture that could happen anytime now. Then the short protracted war of Psalms 83 that brings on the man of peace, that great rhetorician orator that persuades the world and Israel to enter a 7 year peace treaty which starts the tribulation. There is but a short time left before the beginning of the end. Why not confess your sins before the world, follow the ten commandments, and receive the mark of God to be included in his kingdom forever? Would you rather live forever with eternal life or burn in hell? The choice is now, make it before it is too late.

The way I read the Book of Revelation the Rapture takes place before the Great Tribulation. The Church will be Raptured then let the games begin. In the Bible the term Church does not mean denominations but believers in Christ. Revelation is basically for the Jews and non-believers. They will have a chance to convert before the 2nd Coming of Christ. Hopefully I won't be here as I plan on hitching a ride during the Rapture. Apparently the anti-Christ will be a very likable guy at the beginning. He will have solutions and even sign a seven year treaty with Israel. He will break that treaty after three and one half years and then all hell breaks loose, literally.

I believe in the Pre Tribulation Rapture as well. I've sat through many, many prophecy conferences and that seems to be the consensus among Bible Prophecy scholars. The important thing, whether we Believers go through the tribulation or not is to share His Word with non believers. Time is soo short!

I agree. If you notice in the Book of Revelation The Church is mentioned early then never mentioned again.

Since this soon coming war in Psalms 83 will be upon us the rapture will come very soon leaving this president to instill yet another lie upon the population. It is our duty as Christians to lead as many as we can to salvation through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ so they will included in the rapture. The time is very short indeed........

That's true! The worst part is that one way or another religion true or untrue will never be satisfied until the world is completly destroyed.

That is not true. You either don't want to know or you are purposefully twisting at least the Christian faith. In my faith the world is never ending. The world as we know it today would end but not something we wish. I am amazed at the prophecies that have come true and the prophecies that are coming true. Non believers will mostly never believe. You will always make up excuses as to why the prophetic writings in the Bible are a sham. Funny, but the Bible also predicts this reaction. We are now in an explosion of knowledge that was actualy predicted in the Book of Daniel. In 7000 years of recorded history where it took years to right a book in Daniels time it was predicted then that knowledge and transportation would greatly increase.

I'm a Christian also. And I believe that we are fast approaching the time of the end. However I do not believe there is going to be a pre-trib rapture. In order for there to be a rapture Christ would have to return twice. Once to rapture the belivers and then at armageddon. That is not biblical. The Bible says Christ will return at the final trump. Thats when the rapture will take place. During the tribulation, Christians and Jews will be murdered at an astronomical rate. Thats why the bible says when you see the antichrist stand in the holy place to run to the mountains. If we were raptured then who would be here to witness to the masses? A couple of verses in first thessalonions have been taken entirely out of context. Stay close to God.

That's such vague general statement and to claim it was a prophecy is really a stretch of the imagination. Transportation and general knowledge always gets better as time goes on.

In Revelation chapter 1, we saw Christ in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks. In Rev. 2 & 3 we see the 7 letters to the 7 churches, and we clearly see that these 7 churches have a prophetic meaning. We see they represent 7 ages of church history. When we begin chapter 4, we see something has changed. The view has now changed from earth to heaven. Look at Rev. 4:1, "After this I looked and behold a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." Compare the voice as a trumpet with 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:52.
It is an amazing chapter to read! just imagine, John is caught up into heaven, he is about to see and experience exactly what all of us who are saved and alive at the rapture will partake of. Look at the passage in verse 2 we see that the very first thing we shall behold at the rapture is the throne and he who sits on it. Chapter 5 of Rev. we see without a doubt that it is God the Father, not Jesus on the throne.
This then is the full Church that is taken before God and the 24 elders and after this the Church is not mentioned in Rev. again until the 18th chapter I believe. This should tell your that the true Church is gone into heaven.
If you would like a definitive read on the rapture please order "THE GREAT MYSTERY OF THE RAPTURE" by Arno Frose from Amazon.com for Christimas. Arno devoted the whole book to the subject. Thanks for your comment.
