I agree wholeheartedly...but I knew it was coming. The MSM has been looking for any excuse to open up on Trump w/ their 16-inch guns.(For the uninitiated, that was the size gun we had on BBs like the Mo and Wisc.) None of them seem to remember what happened on 9/11...nor do they seem to care. All I can do is shake my head in dismay, especially at "going off the deep end" comments like Hitler Jungen.

PS: I also own several khaki shirts. They're real close to brown in color. Does that mean I qualify for Trump's SA?

Trump has not said anything about concentration camps. Don't let the liberal media put words in his mouth. All he said was that he wanted a pause in letting muslims into our country until the government could find a proper way to vet them, which by the way is constitional. Non citizens have no rights in America, and our constitution does not protect them. Our constitution is there to protect American citizens. Get it right and study the Constitution or shut your mouth.

Welcome to OPP, katgiles. It's always nice to see new folks here. I don't know to whom you are referring to. In order for us to know who/what you are talking to or about, please click on "quote reply". Otherwise you comment just floats around in the atmosphere, unattached anywhere. Sometimes the "quote reply" doesn't work normally, but keep using it please. I'm not the police here......we all had to learn this from others. Again, welcome. BTW, no one here is required to "shut his mouth" because discussion is what it is all about.

Me too! Politicians and the media are against him but the people are with him. The politicians long ago forgot they're supposed to be following the will of the people. Trump knows what the people want.

The other facet of Trump's proposal is the conditional statement "until we figure out what the hell is going on and be able to properly vet these visa application" puts pressure and responsibility on the administration and the congress to actually do something instead of spouting rhetoric. The restriction of Muslim visas is unsavory but is very necessary. Lets hear some other viable alternatives. Those that complain the loudest that this violates the constitution do not complain when the president violate the constitution.

Can "Good Muslims" and"Good Americans or Canadians" coexist ? Can "Good Muslims" and"Good Americans or Canadians" coexist ?

Definitely food for thought !!!

CAN MUSLIMS BE GOOD AMERICANS OR GOOD CANADIANS?

This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish. And send it on to everyone. Maybe this is why our Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities.

Can a good Muslim be a good American or a good Canadian?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:

Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon god of Arabia.

Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam. (Quran,2:256)(Koran)

Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him. (Quran4:34 )

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. Because when we declare 'one nation under God,' The Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation... Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both 'good' Muslims and 'good' Americans. Call it what you wish, it's still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.

The religious war is bigger than we know or understand!

Footnote: The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within. SO FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.

THE UNITED STATES MARINES WANT THIS TO ROLL ALL OVER THE U.S.

The Immigration and Nationality Act. passed June 27, 1952 and became Public Law 414, states in Chapter 2 Section 212 the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by "force, violence, or other unconstitutional means." It also prohibits the entry of Aliens who are members of or affiliated with any organization that advocates or teaches, the overthrow by force, violence, or other unconstitutional means of the US or of all forms of law, and Aliens who publish, circulate and distribute materials teaching or advocating the overthrow by force, violence or other unconstitutional means of the US Government or of all forms of law.
I wish I could get this to Mr. Trump. br Can "... (show quote)

No one who knows anything about America is going to claim that keeping the enemy of America OUT of America is unconstitutional. The Constitution is designed for our citizens and our nation........has nothing to do with foreign enemies. Most of everything Obama does IS unconstitutional. If you don't believe me, ask a real judge.

Trump is a political genius! His Monday evening declaration – that we ban Muslims entering the country - “until our representatives can figure out what’s going on,” - is strategically magnificent! And the post-concussion polls tell us this.

But aside from the populist allure of the content of Trump’s message, his strategy is accomplishing something far more important for our culture. His declaration has instantaneously transformed the global information space occupied by the mainstream media, the Left, and establishment Republican political hacks.

Trump’s simple declaration is succeeding in highlighting the arrogant presumptions of the media/ruling class elites, calling them out for who they are and what they stand for, and in their own words.

Today’s headlines almost uniformly condemn Trump, and almost with identical language: “offense to Muslims,” “playing into ISIS’ hands,” “forcing us into an “us/them” situation, “fascist,” “this is not who we are (followed by obligatory reference to huddled masses), not our values,” “condemning an entire religion,” etc., etc.

The content of this uniform response illuminates the true nature of the Left (media/establishment) in our country: a) They have no clue about the real Constitution, b) They are ignorant of our country’s history, c) They will sacrifice our safety for political correctness. And now, the whole lot of them is on TV and in print declaring as much, and entirely unaware they are doing so.

Probably most abhorrent of all, our media and elites are conspicuous in their failure to address the actual issue at hand: Safety. Their diatribes begin with their shock over Trump’s proposal, as if this were a sufficient response. They almost entirely fail to address the core issues: We are not safe. We are less safe each day. We have a reasonable understanding about why this is the case. We need to do something differently than we’re doing already.

Trump bravely confronts our elites with these realities, yet none ever offers any reasonable proposal for addressing the profound safety issue – just more condemnation.

Trump’s incendiary proposal is a brilliant political tactic. More important than this, however, is his proposal’s strategic utility in compelling our illuminati to reveal themselves as the dangerous fools they are. Again, brilliant.

I think the thinkers on the right have known the media has been the enemy of our America foe a long, long time. It's those who worship at the feet of mayhem and nastiness who need to learn about the media, and their mindsets are so rigid they will NOT be able to turn off their mantra and see the light.

Perhaps we should ban all Christians as well. Cover all bases. Our most famous Christian domestic terrorist, Timothy McVeigh, killed 168 people in Oklahoma City.
Christian terrorists, based on their religious beliefs, routinely kill doctors who perform legal abortions. Just this past June in a Christian church in Charleston, SC, a Christian shooter gunned down nine fellow worshipers. How can you tell the difference between a Muslim and a Christian? Both are convinced that their personal belief is the right one and if you disagree -- you die.
