Are you forgetting one small detail? That being the murders in the SUV were shooting at the police out the back window.... so it could not roll down, they shot it out!!. And by the way, bullet do not stop just because they enter into a vehicle..... they keep going until the loose velocity or they are embedded into a substance. See link below

Blade.... you are so right!! Remember back when I wrote about the child who was shot by those part time Marshalls, my big complaint was the gag order. After that post, I found out that gag orders is SOP when dealing with these kinds of things. In particular if the FBI is involved or Homeland.... no need to let any helpers know they are being investigated and give them time to get away....like the grandmother in this case.
