It is pretty obvious that a number of people on this site are mentally unbalanced. Look at the people who spew hate and anger and fully believe in crazy conspiricy theory's. Think about what you read here. End of the world at the blood moon, Jews blew up the Twin Towers, end times are here and a hatred and death wishes for our President. If one of the people posting here went off the rails it shouldn't surprise anyone, you should be surprised if they don't. The benifit of this chat board is that unlike Facebook we are at arms length from each other but quite frankly I am reluctant to engage some of the more vile nuts here fearing that forcing them to confront the truth could push them over the edge.

Saltwind, here's the deal:

Nicholas Thalasinos, a Messianic Jew, was one of Syed Farook's co-workers. While at work at the IRC facility a couple weeks prior to the attack, Farook and Thalasinos got into a heated discussion about Islamic fundamentalism. Over the two weeks, this confrontation continued with Facebook posts, phone calls, and emails. And, at the Christmas party, they got into it again, face to face. This is what tripped Farook's trigger. He left the party in a huff, went home, got his wife, arranged a baby sitter, they armed up, went to the party and attacked. Along with 13 others, Thalasinos was killed.

Based on the weapons, ammo, pipe bombs, bomb making materials, and Islamic Jihad literature found in Farook's home, we now know that the Farooks were planning something much bigger than just an attack on a Christmas party.

Thalasinos should have been more cautious about riling up an militant Muslim, they have such short fuses. Doesn't take much to set a rabid animal off.

I suppose if there is any good to find in this, it would be that the Farooks are no longer able to carry out their bigger plans. Might have resulted in a much greater loss of life.

I rest my case. When I first started to inform posters of OPP, I was concerned that people might read some of Payne's rantings against Israel and/or Jews. I now see that my fears were unfounded. There are a couple of posters that have similar views, but most posters are as disgusted as me.
People are free to express their views, it part of our First Amendment Rights, thank God we have the right of free speech. I have the right of free speech as well. I no longer will respond to payne1000 posts. It isn't necessary.
