When I went to Israel, our guide (Ron Perry) often spoke of political matters. One of the topics he discussed, was what can Israel do to discourage suicide bombers. Since they want to die retaliation is not a threat. They decided and publicized that they would destroy the home of the bomber. They felt that perhaps the loss of home for his family would discourage a potential terrorist. That is my source.

How does Israel determine who the potential terrorists are?
Do they just arbitrarily destroy Palestinian homes because they see all Palestinians as potential terrorists?
I haven't heard of any suicide bombers in Israel for many years.

They have made it public knowledge that if you commit a terrorist act your home will be destroyed. I thought I had made that clear enough but apparently not. That is the deterrant, if you do it we will leave your family without a home. You don't hear because our illustrious media only reports the second half of any event in Israel.
