I wonder how many of you have the guts to read this article.

The reading of this egotistically driven, self-serving piece of trivia requires no courage.

The article is shallow, superficial and a complete waste of time.

This is not surprising when one sees that the author writes for Salon, a well known leftist propaganda site.

The only problems with your assessment are that libertarians are not lefties and Salon is not a propaganda tool.

We all know people like that. Some of them here on this site.

You appear to be swallowing a camel.

Your problems are your own, as is your opinion of Salon.

The author is now a leftist.

Salon is consistently 'leftist" drivel. The author self-identified as having been, in the past, a "Libertarian" troll.

Nothing was said, on my part, insinuating that Libertarians are, or ever could be, leftists.

I will refrain from describing your leaps...the young man is an ass't social media editor. We can all figure out what that means.

His former employer...left wing?
http://www.defymedia.com/

We all carry our own opinions for our own reasons. It is impossible for a Libertarian to lean left, the inherent selfishness of libertarians prohibits that shift.

I read the article twice to make sure i got not just the words, which were disorganized and meaningless, but the thoughts behind them. He states that he is one of five children, the other ones having interests and accomplishments. His parents "had four other kids to take care of" sounds like he felt left out and useless. the final line "Maybe there is something I am good at" tells the story of an ignored, lonely boy feeling unwanted and alone, somewhat outside the rest of the family. just the type who can be succored into believing the leftist Marxist drivel because it makes him feel important He would be vulnerable to any thing that came down the line and made him believe he had some value, whether it be to join ISIS or a left wing activist group. In the future I wouldn't be surprised to see him in an Occupy march carrying a rainbow flag.

However there is nothing in his bio to support your leap in creative writing, nothing in his employment does either, do you find something that indicates that this young man has any history of activism?

Guts are for the digestion of food, and the production of waste. All one needs to read is a functioning eyeball, and brain.

I read it. Complete waste of time.

I am still trying to find the employment record that Jelun refers to. All I see is a misfit from the word GO. Writing for Salon is much like being a community organizer Oh Wait that could get him into the White house as president Yes I know that the current occupant claims to have a great education (couldn't prove it by the records -what records?) But they could both be managed by the same handlers ultimately.

I read it and it doesn't seem to have any coherent arguments for or against anything. For the most part it chronicles the useless life of a computer nerd.
