You can get that from a lot of places.

Actually I think the planet is generally warming. Generally. It has been since the last age except for the little ice age from the 1500's to 1850. I am glad it is warming generally and not cooling. The little ice age was a terrible time with famines and starvation.

Temperature goes up and down and pauses. The global warming scientists try to explain this away. They forgot to take in account solar activity and clouds. The heat is hiding in the ocean etc. They like to concentrate on what validates their theory. If it doesn't validate the theory they throw out the data or fudge it.

They also weighted higher temperature buoys more and added temperature to the buoys so it was in line with the data from ships even though ships produce heat (from the engines etc.) You would think they would adjust the ship temperature down but they did not. They adjusted the buoy temps upward.

A while back they also threw out the tree ring data because it did not show as much warming (those lying trees!).

As to why the government would lie, why did they lie about Obamacare?

There is a lot of money sitting on the table with this cap and trade scheme which is really a tax. The government never met a tax it did not love.

The editor of the site you linked says sea levels may rise two meters by the end of the century caused by "climate change."

"Essentially they did not have enough information to make an estimate about ice mass loss so they did not include any impact," Nicholls told Reporting Climate Science.Com.

"This paper makes the point that if we have large temperature rises then sea levels could rise significantly. We are not predicting the worst case scenario but it is at least possible. And in the worst case many millions will be forced to move. And in the best case a lot of money and effort will need to be expended on adaptation," said Nicholls."

Did you know the north tower caught fire in 1975 on the eleventh floor and burned for 3 hours (twice as long as on 9/11). The fire burned through six floors and firefighters described it "like fighting a blowtorch."
When the fire was extinguished there was no damage to the steel structure.
The tower stood for another quarter century until it was taken down with explosives.
