I listened to the videos, and so-called "Transfer" agreement with Germany, etc., and some of what the
Israeli's father, the General's son, spoke of was pure
trash.
I know that the Jews (who have been around for 4 million years b.c.e.), their exiles from many countries,
and so on. There is a Hebrew Bible, there have been many artifacts found to validate the 2 destructions of the temple.
I know that the Jews took Palestinian homes, their territory, their rightful territory, and that people in Israel made decisions to encroach further into Palestine, forming communities, which at one point they were to leave, and they did and went back.
Hitler (less than Uncle Joe Stalin) went about methodically killing an entire race of Jews, homosexuals, and Rom people, who were very easy to find, contrary to what you stated. The Rom were given brown symbols to wear. They traveled in caravans, and were so clearly Rom. Hitler's campaign to "purify"
Germany was on a huge track to success.
Listen to Jimmy Carter (not such a great President), but a truly decent man who has done much good in his efforts around the globe). He speaks about the Jews'
appropriation of Palestinian land quite clearly. And, it
doesn't come off as a sort of "collusion" with Germany, as it was NOT. I am (disclosure: part Russian Jew, part
Hungarian Rom) and we all got out of Europe before the 1920's.
The SS and Hitler's methodic murders - unfuckingbelievable. Believable. What a "charismatic"
leader - b.s. He was a dictator who spared no one
whom he believed (as he probably had some psychiatric diagnosis) who was against him. And then
others, just because he could. Or as his Proxy, the Storm Troupers acted.
"Springtime for Hitler and Germany
means winter for England and France"
and a whole lot of other countries. Did you know that
Mr. Chamberlin and the U.K. would not let Jews who
were trying to flee the Nazis into the U.K. They had "an agreement" with Germany.
There ARE a lot of myths. Some of them are in those videos. Say what you "like", and leave out the rest.
I am not anti-Israel (I am also part Arabic), and I am
absolutely in favor of Palestine having its own country.
Bibi being re-elected poses a real problem. And, no,
I don't like the settlements and the wall.
The Israelis and the Palestinians have a short history
between them, and it's ugly. On both sides. Hammas is not a nice group of people: terrorists. Every one feels
it's the other's fault. Insists. There have been bombings from Palestine to cities in Israel. Israel has
captured Palestian soldiers, and has them still in custody. No one is playing by any of the "rules" of various treaties.
That's it for me. I don't think I'm undereducated about this. My mother had a good friend who was also an
artist in NYC, a Dutch Jew who was in 2 different
camps with her 2 sisters and mother. Their mother died on the train, after their father finally got them
Portuguese visa. I interviewed her for a paper, and, of course she didn't tell me all the details, but I heard enough, and she had gone to school, until that was
banned, in Amsterdam with Anne Frank, and saw the
Frank family when they were reported, and brought to,
I believe, Bergen Belsen or perhaps Auschwitz, and this (girl then) and her sisters saw Anne and tried to throw them a tin of sardines they had hidden, and another inmate caught it instead.
This essay is in the Holocost Museum. My mother sent it to them in D.C., without asking me. Her friend died of cancer many years ago. Don't really know why I
mentioned her. I had changed all their names in the
essay. I ought to get in touch with the museum, give
them their real names.
I listened to the videos, and so-called "Tran... (
